(I hope I spelled that right and I apologise if I put this in the wrong section.)
I wanted to make a fruit salad so I went to the market and got fruit. They had a special on pomegrantes so I got a couple. Only problem is, I know there is a specific way to open them, etc and I don't remember what to do!
Help please!!

It's been a decade since I've had a pomegranate, but I think you're supposed to crack it open and set it in a bowl of warm water. The seeds should float right to the top. I remember just opening them and pulling the seeds off of the inner membrane-things, though.
Have you had pomegranate before? If not, be warned that the fruit flesh is wrapped around hard seeds. I always lightly chewed the fruit off, but my dad chewed up all of it and spat out the dried remains.
It tastes good, but it certainly isn't an elegant fruit to eat.
