Wrote this a few months ago while thinking of a friend I had a crush on in high school. It's not what I'd call finished, but I haven't really thought of more yet.
Alas! Walking through the shadows again,
never quite seeing the sun on her face -
glancing in her eyes, see the brightest star.
Enjoy her company and affection,
lift up your heart from where the darkness lies,
and you can see the sunshine in her life.
If you're falling, please don't cry -
find the nerve and wings to fly.
It's easier said than done,
but bad comes to everyone
and there are those who do it.
Don't lose heart! Please, stick to it..
If to the cliff's edge you creep,
i'll get there and take my leap.
It's worth doing together...

It's very sweet and well done, but I've spotted a few errors in punctuation. It also feels like it could be ended there, so if you can't come up with anything else to add, then don't sweat it.
