Zanpakuto: Date's Zanpakuto looks like an average katana with an oval shaped guard.
Shikai(not yet achieved): The shikai form of date's zanpakuto has a red gaurd and hilt, it's blade is also longer than the zanpakuto's sealed form giving it the appearance of a tachi, he also has a blue colored rosary wrapped around his hand connected to the blades hilt. The shikai form of Date's Zanpakuto gives him the control of wind. It is released through the word 'kire(slice)'

Kaze Kiritori(Cutting Wind): Date's zanpakuto creates a narrow arc shaped blast made of wind from using the zanpakuto in a cutting motion.
Kaze Kiritori Battou(Cutting Wind Draw)): Date quickly draws the zanpakuto, releasing a large amount of reiatsu creating one or more blasts of wind(it resembles kaze kiritori but more powerful), date sometimes flash steps in front of the opponent to get a direct hit.

Abilities: He can move at a rapid pace, is very strong, and can endure pain to a high degree
Personality: Date is a very quiet person and does not speak often. Though he seems very serious and callous he can be a somewhat kind person. Date lives by his own morales and refuses to kill a person for no reason but if he does he'll cut that person down mecilessly.
Biography/History: Sumitada was born to a family of low class in the soul society, though he shows pride in his family and will cut down anyone who insults them. At a young age he was enrolled in the soul Reaper academy and proved to be highly skilled in the use of the sword, because of that he was considered a genius.
