He regarded her curiously for a moment then let the bird sit on a spot between his ears as he watches the strange site before him he couldn't help but laugh. The sound was strange and foreign to his voice; the last time he had truly laughed was before his mate had died.
"Energy indeed," he chuckled before becoming serious once more. No... How could that be? No where had there been an attack of this nature in all these years? Did they just attack and vanish? How was the possible?
"Thank you," he said quietly. It was unfortunate... Would he ever get revenge was waiting any longer worth it?

For a while, Leliel's ears twitched in a way that made it seem she were just doing it for fun, but she was in deep thought, thinking to herself if there really were any killings that she had known of.
"Well, really. in this specific place, no. Where I have come from, the lions were vengeful and hostile."
Her home, indeed, was full of discomfort as everyone had more than one reason to dislike another. Yet, she managed to escape the pack, away from the unloving pain.
Leliel pulled a paw up near her head to scratch some of the sand that started tickling in her fur, at the same time giving an unsure look towards Yuu, yet still feeling sympathy towards him.
"Dont give up now, though... If the lion has not shown his ugly face thus far, he doesnt have the courage to stand up to your hatred and muscle mass."

Yuu nodded "Perhaps then if they returned to the place where they came from have been murdered then and there is no longer a reason to stay..." He said regretfully; If that was the case there was no longer a reason for him to stay here...or alive for that matter.
Leleil's voice snapped him from his rather suicidal trance, such Spirit he thought again. "You still seem so young, and have so much still to live for."
But she was right he had to remain here for the memories of the dead remembering them was the job of the living.

Leliel does not hesitate to pad over towards Yuu feeling sympathy towards him and his horrible, past events; glancing at him through the corner of her squinted eyes.
"It's not a good thing to keep things so bottled up inside. Perhaps it's time to move on."
As Leliel looks away towards the swaying ocean, she turns her head back to Yuu to give him a quick, soft lick to his cheek. Perhaps a way for an apology, or maybe not.
Either way, Leliel takes a dive up into a nearby tree, faster than Yuu could react. The sudden desperate leap causes Sverrir to squawk loudly and flap his wings over Yuu's head.

"But if I move on who will grieve for them?" he asked "Some one must remember, I cannot leave here." it was his own punishment for himself for being so foolish when he was young. He sighed sadly remembering his happier days continuing to stare at the ocean.
Leleil licked his cheek and dashed away he smiled softly chuckling slightly “Thank you Leliel,” he responded to the lioness. He too let the black bird find a place to settle in his mane.
