1. My Goddess

- Man and noodle alike have been at war with eachother and the heavens. Many children of the Goddess have changed, their hearts twisted into evil or changed for the better. You and everyone you know is involved in this mess.
The Goddess has rallied all other Gods and Goddesses to make an attempt to resolve the dispute between man and noodle. You have been summoned before the Goddess to try and make amends and rectify this situation. Everyone is looking to you to change this for the better.

2. Happy little arhat

- You're elated that Goddess has chosen you for this monumental task. However it has made your rival extremely jealous. They try to argue their case with the Goddess, that they should be the one to take this path and change the world.
"You are the guardian of the past, -name- is the guardian of the future. They are to lead the world into a better time."

3. Tea Ceremony/Incarnation

- In the process of your joy and elation, the Goddess gives you a gift of jade tea. However, your rival steals the precious pot of tea and shatters it, putting all the blame on you. You plea your innocense but the Goddess in turn returns you to the beginning of your time.
"Steal their senses, mute and blind them. Leave them nothing to remind. Drain their memory, purify them. Like an infant, simplify them."
You are reborn as an infant to a simple family. You have no memory of your previous lifetime.

4. Good things come to those who wait

- You have been reborn to a simple family that has been offered a better life. By choosing to accept that life your parents have died and you as an infant are found and raised by who could only be considered monks in a way.

5. Grow/Riversong

- Growing up, you have learned much from those around you. You have studied and plan to travel to the temple of the Goddess and prove your worth to her. Upon arrival to the temple, you are greeted by the Goddess in disguise and learn the fate of your parents, but you are still unaware of your previous life.

6. To the Goddess/I pray

- You spend time in the temple of the Goddess, thinking about what has been revealed to you. While still unaware of your true past, the Goddess appears before you in disguise and grants you a gift. She asks you to partake on a journey to help mankind and the children of the Goddess.
Before leaving, you pray for advice, direction, anything to lead you on this journey safely. The Goddess smiles from behind and reveals her true form to you. Is it then she reveals you were chosen specifically and granted a very special gift.
"You will find your first companion within the coming days as you travel."

7. Thine enemy

- Having heard all of this, your rival is bound determined to find a way to stop you and take this task on themselves. They are stopped by the Goddess, but once free to roam again, they resume their task of following and stopping you.

8. The king

- You arrive at a mountain temple and find a fox-like creature made of stone. It sits very graceful, gold jewelry adorning it, a seal on it's head. By touching the seal, you revive the fox and quickly discover the seal is what was holding it in a stone prison.
The fox explains they were imprisoned in stone 500 years ago by the Goddess for wreaking havoc in the heavens. They are grateful you have freed them and agree to follow you on your quest in hopes of returning to their position of power before the Goddess.

9. Loss of face

- As you and your companion travel, you come across a village suffering a severe shortage in food. The villagers reveal to you another fox, this one under the power of a curse. You stay and quickly learn that this fox is the reason for the food shortage. It has taken place as the village leader and has demanded all food be given to them.

10. The dao

- You confront this fox committing the crime of taking the villagers food. They tell you it was what the Goddess wanted. You immediately know that's a lie and seek to find the source of the curse placed upon the poor beast causing it to both think and act this way.
Once freed of the curse, the fox agrees to join you to ask the Goddess for forgiveness.

11. The other side

- You've arrived at a river where yet another fox, this time under the guise of a dragon, has taken residence. They mention being the guardian spirit of death and leading the way to the other side. They also ask you to prove your worth, asking of your reason for coming to this river and why you should be allowed to cross to the other side.
The fox eventually agrees and takes you across where they shed their dragon guise and reveal themselves as another fox, seeking to be the true guardian of death for the Goddess.

12. Make 'em believe

- Your travel brings you to another temple of greed. Those that reside in the temple believe you and your companions to be great at swindling the innocent out of their money.
Upon revealing that you're innocent yourselves and working on the will and blessing of the Goddess, you are locked inside the temple with no means of escape. The first foxy companion reveals they know a way to escape, stopping the greed of the temple to take your gift from the Goddess.
As you head to leave the temple, you are pulled from your companions and poisoned by the words and greed of those inside.
