I did too... it's not like it wasn't obvious, who was fated to die. I mean Rumiko Takahashi hinted at their deaths for forever, and she chickened out for half of them anyway. Personally, I think she could have killed of a few more.

You didn't even give me a chance to say Koga! I mean he doesn't really have anything left to live for. His clan is mostly gone exept for Ginta and Hakkaku and some left over wolves that didn't bite it. I don't know if Ayame, his fiancee, in the anime is in the manga but still, he doesn't care for her, he cares for Kagome. He just doesn't seem that important to keep.
