Actually, it isn't until the last few months that you've been missing out. Valkyria Chronicles is easily the best RPG to come out in the past two years (right up there with Fire Emblem on the Wii). Now the PS3 also has Disgaea 3 and Eternal Sonata, both of which are awesome.
You should ask for a PS3 for the holidays, or something. smile

@Proto: I've ceased trying to really classify the game or really describe "what it's like." It's an RPG. The only other adequate adjective is "awesome."

And this sadly overlooked GOTY contender is still getting media attention... but most likely still no consumer attention...
