You could at least try to have a definitely formed opinion, Wolfie (and yes, I am going to call you that because your username is far too long). A week ago you were saying there should be certain terms that they fulfill in their marriage, that they should provide some means of reproduction. Now you've suddenly seemed to change your position and are totally gung-ho for the opposite side. It's called flip-flopping. If it were in regards to new information, that would be one thing, but it seems as though you're simply trying to agree with those of us who are in the majority here.
As for the speech itself, I thought it was beautifully put. It's nice to see other people like myself who have little personal reason to be so strongly against this atrocity and yet feel that it's the right thing to do anyhow. So much of what you see written against it comes from people with a strong personal bias- those who are or are close to someone who is homosexual. This is not an issue which concerns only that group, though, but is something that all humanity should be appalled that we would ever consider banning. Marriage is about love between two people, regardless of gender, color (I like how he brings up that parallel), religion, or anything else in this world of ours.
