Geisha Geisha are people trained in the traditional arts (such as dance, music, and entertainment in a non-sexual way) and meant to be the ideal person to talk to. They can converse about anything and everything, knowing when to say the right things at the right time. Many can play musical instruments or know a bit of magic to supplement their dances so they might gain an edge in the field of entertainment. Artisans in their own right, Geisha value secrecy, keeping their private and personal lives separate from that of their entertainment lives.
Due to their rigorous training in the arts, Geisha don’t learn to use most weapons, preferring to use magic or self-defense in the case of emergencies.
Weapons They Can Use: Fans – which are carried by all geisha no matter what rank. Defensive weapons or needles, meant to disable or disarm (and small enough to be concealed on their person).
Armor They Wear: Geisha are most often seen in kimonos (with obis, tied in the back) and (depending on rank) zori or wooden clogs. Due to the nature of their dress, running is a fairly difficult task. Their hair is usually done up, though the higher geisha have the option of using wigs. Also, as part of their role, the geisha wears a mask of make-up, hiding her true self under the white paint and red lips.
Abilities: Singing, dancing, keeping people occupied, can converse about nearly anything from poetry to business to cooking, empathy, and entertaining magic.
Strengths: Geisha embody beauty and grace, using this to their advantage to become smooth talkers and very persuasive should they need to be. They’re also highly intelligent, knowing the right thing to say to each person.
Weaknesses: Geisha aren’t meant to fight, as their clothing heavily restricts the movement of their legs. In addition, apart from basic self-defense and the fans, geisha are physically weak.
