They spell hamster "hampster".
Seriously, you own the little fuzzy critter and you can't even spell out what it is?
Where does that freaking "p" come from anyway?
It's even sadder when you were able to find a lj community for your fuzzy little critter. Notice the community name is "hamsters" not "hampsters". Or maybe the person who created the community was stupid and can't spell hamster?

People misspelling words is usually really funny, though. Or, making New Hampshire into New Hampster, or something similar. .. I remember this from my childhood for some reason, don't judge me. >:

Rofl. New Hampster.
Man, maybe next time someone says they have a "New Hampster" I'm going to say, "Congrats on moving to New Hampshire. I hear it's a wonderful place to live."

People's dialects get in the way. My husband can't spell very well because his stupid teacher back in the day told the class to spell it how it sounds and didn't teach the essential phonics of how a word sounds so they spell it funny...and some words you just have to remember is spelled that way. People have gotten really lazy when they talk as well and don't give a crap about grammar and enunciating. Then they get mad at me when I sit there and correct their HORRIBLE spelling.

After saying "hamster" like 10 times out loud since clicking this thread, I just realised I nearly pronounce that 'p'. >>;

I keep saying "hampster" now. Lol
Wait... Why do they call hamsters hamsters? they don't look like hams. And Guinea Pigs. They don't look like pigs and they don't smell like pigs. And I doubt they taste like pigs (probably tastes like chicken).
Although my mom says Harry smells like a cow and eats hay like a cow. But he eats like a pig... Hmm...

But pigs aren't small. Baby pigs are small and cute and so are Pot Bellied Pigs, but not really full grown pigs.
I'm putting too much thought into this, aren't I?
