Crea sat down next to a clear spring after gathering extra herbs and plants to dry and stock for the coming winter. It was an unusually warm day, and though the thick trees over head, though brilliant in color, did not seem to do much for the intensely hot sun. Crea also noticed that there was something odd in the feeling of the forest. Something strange that she could not quite grasp. She then bent down and drank deeply from the spring before sitting back up, she could taste it in the water as well.

User Image Alcuin had felt certain...uneasiness through the day. He had trouble keeping his normal, calm behavior, and it led him to random wandering, without any purpose whatsoever...
...what was happening?
He tossed his head, making his hair fall down nicely. He greatly disliked having it in a mess.
The elder was ready to take a turn, and moved away to a different place, when he felt someone's presence nearby. He took a few more steps, and saw the forest's another resident unicorn.
"Good day, Crea." He greeted her, and moved closer. "How are you feeling today?"
Hopefully not as weird as he was.

Cruentus felt fine; he thought that it was an absolutely beautiful day. In fact, a good day for him to take a trip to the North Forest. The wide, open spaces of the plains grew boring after spending so much time there, and traveling felt almost necessary sometimes.
All was quiet until Crue's large ears caught the sounds of what seemed to be the conversing of two Aisulu. In an almost sneaky manner, Crue slowly made his way towards the noise.

Demus lay in a pile of leaves, his daydream of colorful birds and massive clouds was interrupted by soft, light, slow steps taken in the direction of the deep forest, where the clearing was. Demus found himself in this area for practical reasons; it was fresh and green, and the mysterious lake he calls home isn't nearly as comforting. There was an odd shift in everything this time of year. The animals acted different, the trees, the wind were all in their usual annual metamorphosis.

Demus just lifted his head and watched something in the distance, which he assumed was another Aisul-but it was hard to tell with all the foliage. He guessed he was going towards the muted sounds in the distance, which sounded like someone talking. Demus didn't know anyone here, as he only made a few trips to the north, when he felt betrayed by the lake. Aisul here were a bit more formal, and the animals a bit too honest.

Crea had already sensed the Elder's presence, and was not startled when he spoke. She looked over at him and bowed her head in respect to him. "My heart is uneasy, and I fear that there is some kind of uneasiness going through the forest. I've had this feeling for days, but it is only today does this uneasy feeling become stronger." Though she tried to supress it, as soon as a breeze blew past, she shuddered. "Something is not right, Elder Alcuin, I can taste it in the water as well." Just then her sharp ears caught the sounds of someone near by walking slowly toward them, her bright eyes looked in the direction of the sound but then returned her gaze to the Elder.

User Image "...Yes..." The elder sighed, and shook his head.
"There is something going on - something I can't just figure out yet." He stood next to the young unicorn, looking into her eyes. "We should be really careful now.

Alcuin did feel the two aisulu approaching. The wind didn't lie. But, just for now, he didn't say anything. If they wanted to approach, they will approach anyway. And if they didn't, let them go their way.
He hoped for at least a bit of peace on this strange day.

Though still he was a good distance away from Crea and Alcuin, Crue could easily see the Aisulu, they seemed to pop out, being as brightly-colored as they were.
Crue may have been able to blend in a bit more, but anyone looking in his direction would likely see him. His silver hair had to pop out just as much as the white coats of the other two.

[Sorry for crummy post, kind of being rushed in to posting quick. Gotta go eat supper. XD;]

Demus continued to watch this wandering Aisul, and surprised himself by actually bothering to greet him. "Good day, lone one" was mustered, almost too quietly to hear- and with that a flourish of little animals came to the Aisul in the distance, a squirrel even attempted to climb on the stranger. Demus made a soft noise and the strange animal frenzy ceased.

He could understand the animals, and they could understand him, so they went and greeted the Aisul in their own way, which was expected while Demus still was held in high regard among them. When he first showed up at the North forest, some animals ignored him fully, and it took a while to turn that around.
He hoped he didn't freak anyone out, as the chattering of small beasts was often an alarming noise.

Crea nodded as well, hiding her racing heart when he looked into her eyes. His beautiful wisened eyes she longed to see herself in, the way she had seen many a couple she healed. But she only saw how distracted he was by the same haunting feeling which bothered her as well, causing her little moment of wishful thinking to quickly vanish. Suddenly at the corner of her eye she saw figures moving, she looked in their direction and saw one Aisulu covered with little creatures and the other with long silver hair looking their way.

"We have company Elder Alcuin..." she said softly.

User Image "I am well aware of that..." Alcuin nodded slowly, and turned his head so that he also could see the newcommers.
"..And some that don't seem...native...to this place."
The elder tried to recognize these two aisulu, but failed to do so. They must've traveled for quite a while till arriving here.

Yet, he didn't say a word. If any of these two was interested in talking, they would come closer and say something anyway.

Before Crue could even react to the nearly inaudible greeting, he had been swarmed by small woodland creatures.
Quite startled, all he did was begin to back away slowly- but as soon as he had started to do so, the animals seemed to calm down. How awkward, he thought.
Glancing up from the group of animals, his eyes quickly darted around, focusing in on Demus; who he naturally assumed had been the one to greet him only a moment ago.

"Uh... hello.", was all Crue muttered, before glancing once more at the animals, then back in the direction of the other two Aisulu. With all of the sudden activity, he had almost forgotten where he was originally headed.

"I am sorry.." Demus quietly said, not really wanting to stand up or anything.
"I am not used to the animals here..I do not know how they react." He didn't really mean to startle anyone, and he expected a squirrel or two to greet him but not such a large amount of other animals as well. Demus would now think twice before saying anything.

Something in his mind realized that there were more Aisulu but they probably weren't near enough to see from this point anyway..besides, Demus wasn't fully awake. He slowly decided to stand up and scratch his shoulder upon a tree a few inches away from him. After that action, he just stood around, trying to wake his groggy mind up, and hoped this other Aisul wouldn't mind the silence.
