The shop has been wanting to get the rp out of the main gaia forum and into the guild for a while, so here is your place to rp to your heart's content!
General guidelines:
- Anyone is free to make an rp here, as long as they have one of the pets.
- Mark your rps with [PRP] for Private RP or [ORP] for Open RP according to who's rping there. PRP is for certain people only, while ORP is for anyone who wishes to join.
- Don't rp in a PRP that isn't for you! Those who do, even after warning, stand to be banned from the guild. Its also good manners to ask the creator of an ORP if you can join, though it shouldn't be a problem.
- Keep out of character talk to the chatterbox or the main shop thread. RP threads are for rp only, please.
Some guidelines for rping here:
- This is Almahat, the dream realm. As such, only creatures born in Almahat, the dragons, and the dreamers the dragons bring with them may be rped here. If you don't have a dragon or one of the creatures of Almahat, you may not rp till you do.
- When a dragon is a dracling, they live inside their dreamers head, specifically in their personal dreams, after being called from Almahat. They can only communicate with their dreamer in these personal dreams, or if they take their dreamer's sleeping self to Almahat.
- The world of Almahat is solid to its inhabitants, but to the Dreamers, it really is a dream world. They can manipulate it with their mind subconsciously, shaping reality to fit their needs. A tired Dreamer might make a chair appear as they go to sit down, or a table with a glass of water if they're thirsty. They can also do it consciously if they focus their will. Its a hard thing to do, though, since whatever it is you create disappears the moment you stop concentrating on it. Practice makes perfect though, and some can do this control with only half a thought to it.
- Its also something to note that what happens in the very real world of Alamahat happens as well in the waking world. A dream that was hurt in Almahat will wake with that injury, and should a dreamer die in Almahat... then they will die in the real world too.
- When a dragon reaches adulthood, they can transport their physical body into the waking world, unlike a dracling, who can only enter a dreamer's dreams.
- Only when a dragon reaches the elder stage can it move a dreamer's physical body to Almahat. Its unwise to do so, however, since the world becomes real to the dreamer and if they stay too long, they'll be unable to return to their world on their own.
- The landscape of Almahat is a reflection of the waking world. What exists there exists here, though it may not be exactly the same. Its all about perception and something ugly in the real world might be replaced by something lovely, or vice versus.
