It was a pleasant sunny day, where the temperature was perfect, the air was crisp, and all of world around seemed to be a splendid mood.
It was enough to make Daikenkai sick. He sat under a couch in the Incense Shop trying to hide from all aspects of the day. If he had lingered at home for too long, he would have been forced to experience Rhapsody the Kyunru's flared up cheery disposition. No doubt if he had remained out in the open, some clueless Pala, Kyunru, Kunkun, or other creature would have pestered him to play. Biting at the metal lodged in his lip, he seemed to contemplate the outcome. His generally sour expression grew even more sour. Apparently the thought that came to mind was not one to his suiting.
However, despite his desire to avoid the world outside of the couch's shade, he couldn't help but feel curious as to what could be going on outside. Grabbing the ornament at the end of the chain connected to his ear, he looked it over for a moment.
"It couldn't hurt t'take a look out..." he uttered. He'd push himself to his feet, and then lift up the cloth masking the bottom edges of the couch. Daikenkai looked out with squinting crimson eyes, uncertain what he'd find.

Gold tipped feet made their way across the short-cut grassy field, easily paced in their direction toward the large and aged tree ahead. It was a frequent if not popular hubble of social encounters, and that was exactly what the blackened Pala could use right now. Afterall, you can only praise yourself for so long before you tire of your own voice.
With that lingering thought, Soul Lexis continued on. His stride could easily be read as full of confidence, and his swishing tail gave no hint to a failing pride. And so, it wasn't all that surpriseing when he waltzed into the shop without permission or hesitation to his intrusion. Why bother? Hw was just going to find someone interesting to drag out soon enough. Now....just who to select? Teal eyes held a gleaming smirk as he glanced about the room, arms folded across his chest as he debated his options....

At first, there seemed to be nothing unusual outside of the couch's vicinity. The nearby table was still looming over him, the room was still unoccupied, and the sunshine from the window still burned his eyes. His eyes had just about adjusted to the light when something atrocious came into his view.
Obnoxious rave RAINBOW.
Even regular rainbows were disgusting, but at least he would be polite enough to distinguish between the two if asked about it. Wrinkling his nose a bit as he watched the Pala strut along as if it was a fashion model, Daikenkai quickly attempted to retreat. Rainbow colors usually meant someone who was happy-go-lucky. He rarely could stomach such good vibes, and he wasn't about to try.
In his haste to go back into hiding, the folds of the couch's edging swished rather notably, making it something that would most likely attract undesired attention.
