Just felt like running away from all the problems in this world? Feeling any pressure to be "Normal" For a change? Like no matter what you are (As in sexuality) That you have the right to express yourself?? In my school they hide the fact of that there are bi-sexuals, gays and lez. I just wanna strangle all the preppy girls and a few guys for making fun of me when i walk by and they always whisper about me behind my back...
I'm lucky though. I found a teacher that i can take comfort in talking to about my issues... I guess that anyone else at my school talks to her and she is just amazing with helping everyone else out... She talked to at least five kids and had them back off of me and had them suspended for sexual Harassment. thats how cool she is. 3nodding

man, i know what you mean. even while in the closet, everyone thought i was weird. people like to call themselves normal so that they can feel superior. it's just that weak people feel that the only way to feel on top is to make others around them feel inferior. that's why people pick on nerds. think about it- nerds have the study habits and knowlegde to take over the world, yet the preps make fun of them? obviously, that's because they know they aren't on top.
now, as for being gay and put down ,that's just cuz they're not entirely secure within themselves about their sexuality. see, like, everyone will accept you (well, not necassarily your relitives xp ) if they are comfortable being themselves, but if not, they have to make fun of you for it. they're just making up for their insecurities.
not that knowing that can help you at all. sorry sweatdrop
btw, you have a very cool teacher to help you like that!!!

That would have been neat to have a teacher to do such things for kids at my school.
There were a few of us gays there, however, being bi was like the "popular" thing to do at that school. Everyone claimed they were but most had never even kissed the same gender.
Anyways, when they find out you honestly are the go and tease, or make fun, or whatever you want to call it. My friend Ricky was teased, me and him made student counsil together and he did the announsments in the morning. I'd be sitting in class and he'd do what he did every morning and the kids would start teasing, making fun, calling names, all that.
This guy actually broke down one time from all of it.
You just have to find someone to confide in and hope it all works out for you.

seriously. people have just been discriminating and persecuting eachother forever, and it's wrong. it's true, it's cos of insecurities. and often times, it's cos of what was embedded into them. this one guy and i were talking about prop 8, and how i didn't think it was right to take away the right to same-sex marriage, and that taking any rights away from anyone in the LGBT community was wrong. i was being civil, and i was kind of winning the argument, so he just goes "well, they're all going to hell anyway." at times like that is when i wish i could go and tell a teacher. i'm glad that i have supportive teachers in the GSA that i can go talk to. sometimes it can be overwhelming, though, and you really to just want to get away from it all. and nothing's cool about being "normal". even if i was straight, i wouldn't be "normal". that's fine, cos i'm used to being myself xD

Dude, I fricken HATE when straight people bring fricken religion into crap having to do with gays. Do they think we aren't aware that we aren't exactly accepted in the Bible? I, personally, could care less, but I have gay friends who believe in God and are still hoping to go to heaven.
In my opinion, thats just a very low blow, and it makes me really mad.
The other arguement I hate (having to do with prop cool is when they say, "Well, I don't want my son to become gay because we have gay neighbors." ONE: YOUR NEIGHBORS ARE JUST AS LIKELY TO BE GAY EVEN IF GAYS CANNOT MARRY. TWO: IT ISN'T AS IF GAYS GO AROUND THINKING 'Huh, I wonder who I can convert today?'

Somehow the church rules over the state in many matters still. i guess it's cuz the big reason all the pilgrims came here back a long time ago was for freedom of religion and the government doesn't want to deal with their s**t so they just submit. you know, like those bad parents that let their kids run around and scream and throw toys all over wal mart instead of telling them to be quiet or take them out of the store. and yeah, gays aren't like those annoying people who go door to door offering pamphlets from their churches. families dont have to think about slamming the door to them. that's a rediculous and stupid arguement. but yeah, i've heard it.

really! it's not some contagious disease, like we're gonna walk around "turning" people gay. you can't "turn" someone gay. people are silly.

I've always gotten along well with pretty much everyone so after a while this year since everyone pretty much knew who I was or liked me or wh@ever (I obviously wasn't amazing friends with everyone) I told everyone and I've been helping my friends come out too. I try to make people more accepting of us. Whether or not they want to believe it we're here. =P
And since we were on the topic of how they argue us by using the Bible and stuff, has anyone else noticed they always argue the same like... 3 points? They're out of arguements but won't admit it. =P

They're out of arguements but won't admit it. =P that's because people who argue by using the bible haven't actually read the bible. it's just that so many gay people are either forced out of churches or choose to no longer go to an instutuion that for god-knows-what hates them that they think that ALL gays are against the church and ASSUME that none of them have read the bible. what they fail to realize, and mind you the people who use the bible are usually the ignorant people, is that most people raised in this country are christian, thus forth, had gone to church as children. i know that's how it is for me and a lot of other gays i know. anyways, this is a clearly reasonable conclusion because if those hypocrites had indeed read the bible that they always seem to preach about, they would've realized that ALMOST EVERY DAMN SCRIPTURE IS ABOUT HOW GOD WANTS EVERYONE TREATED EQUAL REGARDLESS OF THEIR SINS! i've heard scriptures in church how he's declared prostitutes no better than hard-workers. in fact, he at some times glorifies them for their suffering and faith. the point is, if they actually READ the bible, they would know that they are suppsed to be open minded and treat one another equaly. for god sake, it's in the ten friggen comandments! love thy neighbor as you love thyself!!! anyways, yeah. they use the same three points because they don't know any others, and if they read the bible, they would know that their points are dismissable and actually offensive to any true christian/catholic/whatever you may be in the world.

I've had my fair share of people telling me that I was doomed to hell because of my sexuality and I have no soul for 'choosing' to be this way. CHOOSING?! Sigh. Yeah I also have some bi/gay friends who are really into god and are all 'faithful' and crap like that.. good for them though, it's sometimes good to have somethign like that to believe in. Yeah, see like a previous comment that was made, we don't go around and door knock.. yet other religions do? So how are we terrible and converters, seriously? People will bag out gays for a very, very long time. I don't see that ever going away because you are still going to get those homophobic people and you are going to get those stricktly religious families in the world until the world ends. It's one of those really hard things that you have to try and ignore, even though it can be thrown in front of you face. If you have pride, then show it. And your teacher must be really awesome.. it's always nice to have someone older you can confide in.
