This is a private roleplay between Kira of Flames and Miroke. Please do not post unless invited or a mod. Thank you.  Jun Jun leisurely floats down the river. He lets the rivers wash over him. And let the stronger currents wash him away where ever they may please. For one of the first times the week the current slows down and he comes to a slow stand still. He takes advantage of the moment to dive under and refresh himself. he opens his eyes to a wonderful sight of a small oblong lake. He can tell its near winter because some of the waterfalls surrounding one portion of the edge of the lake has either frozen over or made a frozen cover. The water still moves here but slow enough not to make much of a difference. Jun Jun moves to a shore to eat a greener meal than of late.

 Atreus was used to the chilly waters of the lake, it was something he'd grown acustomed to after years of returning to the same spot as the migration of those deliciously juicy fish came through. They were plump and ready for spawning, which meant they had the best nutrition in their flesh as well.
Speaking of Atreus, the Merdrac was half way out of the water on the banks, ripping into a few of the fish that he'd pulled out of the water. He was hungery, and he was a damn good hunter. He growled deeply as he licked his chops, finishing off the last of his fish.

Jun Jun has a chunk of pond greenery half way down his gullet when he hears a splash and the recognizable sound of someone tearing apart a fish. He stops scared, no idea what he should do. He doesn't usually meet other Sandpainters, never mind another Merdrac. He usually swishes straight past them or swims underwater for a while. Jun Jun shoves the rest of the chuck of seaweed like grass and slips back into the water as silent as possible. He swims by an unusually abundant amount of fish. And hopes to dear god the other thing doesn't catch him.

Atreus' sharp eyes caught the movement out of the corner of his eyes and he moved fluidly through the water to attack. However, as soon as he was in the water, he recognized that the creature he was chasing after wasn't a fish, but rather a Merdrac like himself. His eyes narrowed and he sped through the water, leaving bubbles in his wake. Reaching out, he smacked the other male with his claws. How dare another male intrude on his winter territory.

Jun Jun is off when suddenly hit. He jerks around leaving a little blood in his wake. He hisses and goes on the defensive. He starts swim around the other male. 'What am I doing, what am I doing??' Jun Jun contemplates to himself, but his instincts are already off and running. But Jun Jun tries to get ahold of himself. He swims up to the surface and try to figure out why he was attacked.

Atreus watched the other male's movements with a keen eye, surfacing with the other only a few yards off and emitting a low growl. "What are you doing trespassing here...." It wasn't a question, but a demand, and the tone of his voice told the male to tread carefully.

Jun Jun is surprised at his animosity,"I am just going through. I haven't stopped flowing in days so I am making a quick stop here to eat and rest before moving on." he says as diplomatically as possible. "I am sorry I had no idea I was trespassing." he says nervously. 'This guy is a tad uptight.' he thinks to himself sarcastically.

Atreus said nothing for a bit, then snorted. "You should be more careful where you go through... Names Atreus, by the way." He looked away, then glanced at the brightly colored male from the side. "What about you, where are you from?" He was a little curious about this other male, since it was sort of rare to see a Merdrac anyways.

Jun Jun perks up,"I will, this is one of my first meeting. And my worst" he says looking at his would. "I'm Jun Jun, I'm a merdrac, and I am from somewhere else." he says with a bright smile. "And if you don't mind, I will tend to my wounds now." he say winding his way back to the shore with a smile. "So ow are you?' he says friendly grabbing a chunk of weed to wrap around the wound.
