It was early morning in the Linderhill household, everyone still seemed to be fast asleep in bed including Thomas Linderhill who was snoring rather loudly. As the sun began to peek over the horizon Thomas' alarm clock began to beep which woke the sleeping bird man up with a jump.
"Ah! I thought I turned you off!" He exclaimed, yawning widely as he pressed the 'off' button on the clock and stepped out of bed. His large black wings spread out and he flapped them slightly to make sure that they still worked, smiling to himself he walked around his room and to the spot where a single slipper lay. Blinking twice he scratched his head in confusion before sighing.
"Alright...Where's my left slipper?" He mumbled, picking up the slipper on the floor in front of him and commesing a search around the area. Turning up no results he walked into the hallway and gazed about the floor, then spotting the slipper on the top stair of his stair case. Giving a childish grin he dashed over to the slipper, dropping the other one on the floor in front of him as he ran and tripping over it, just as he had reached the stairs and picked up the other slipper. Gasping he fell head first down the stair case, immediatly knocking himself out as he clutched his left slipper to his chest.
Well...At least he found his slipper...

When the man woke up, he was laying in a cot on what looked like a small space ship (the windows were what made it look that way). There was a funny necklace around his neck and a young woman, with green skin and six arms, sitting and sewing a rip in her nightgown. Huh. That was odd.
