[The Scene: Oz has finally bought a ticket to go see the new art show one of the new names on the block is holding. Its one of those fancy big deal kind of things, so hes choosing to wear a black dress shirt with black dress pants a some nice shoes. Hes fancied up today. ]
It was a very nice start to the night, getting to go to this hot new art show that had been spread all over the city in gossip and flyers like wildfire. Supposedly it was supposed to be amazing, he couldnt wait to find out.
He loved the art scene, though his personality and roles would express otherwise.
As he opened the glass door, to the very well lit room, he noticed it was almost new york like. With its nice lighting to see the pictures, and its benches and peopple in nice clothes standing about conversating about certain ones, and others roving hte paintings and photographs.
He walked in, and the first painting to catch his eye was bright orange, his favorite color, with a blue flamingo that was standing over the also blue water sleeping.. But the background where the sky would be was bright orange..
He didnt know what that artist was thinking, but he found himself staring at it and cocking his head a bit.

Bret couldn't draw to save her life, but she loved art of all forms. Paintings, sculpture, photography, theatre, music.... Anyway that people could freely express their imagination and create something beautiful.
She had been delighted to find that there were several art shows in the city, so she had made sure to pencil a few in to her schedule. She was headed to one tonight! A supposed brilliant painter who used simple images and vivid colors. She couldn't wait to see what his take on that was.
She was dressed up a bit tonight in black leggings, a tunic dress with a bold purple, grey and yellow print and purple high-heeled boots. A grey coat to keep out the chill, a vintage purse and some antique earrings completed the look.
Hurrying into the show, Bret took a deep breath and smoothed her ruffled red curls. She glanced around the room, smiling to herself at the crowd this artist had received.
She stepped over to the nearest painting that wasn't surrounded. A pink gorilla perched on a yellow rock like a throne. Interesting composition. She found herself quite absorbed in it.

The only thing that could distract away from the birghtly, quite surreal-esque paintings, was the familiar face of the girl he had met at the Cafe, Bret.
OPening his mouth and saying he had thought her to be quite pretty, had led the media to believe that he was completely gay.
Until he had made out with Vagdonna, then he had just proved himself desperate.
Shaking his head of the thooughts, he smiled, and began walking over to her.
He saw the gorrilla sitting on a yellow rock, and grinned again.
"Fancy meeting you here!"
He said with a laugh.
"I didnt know you were into the art show scene."
He said with a nod, looking up to look at the gorilla painting as well.

Bret glanced up at the sudden sound of a voice, surprised. She did a double-take at Oz as she summoned the ability to speak.
"OZ! Uh, hey!! Wow, you surprised me!"
She was flustered especially now, having finally read Lorenz Milton's blog. She hadn't heard what Oz had said about her until she had met Ana from the agency, who tipped her on to it. Trying to remain calm, she focused on getting the words to come out.
"Yes!" she said finally with a grin.
"I uh... I love art. Can't draw at all or anything, I just have an appreciation for the subject. And how about you?"
That's good, Bret! Turn the subject around so he can talk and you can focus on breathing.

He gave a deep laugh at her surprise and smiled charmingly.
"Sorry, didnt mean to sneak up on ya. That piece drawing you in like it does me?"
He asked, staring at it a bit.
"I love art. Its the only thing that cant criticize you while you criticize it."
He said smiling.
He could see she was somewhat flustered, and he silently cursed himself for that damned article.
"So, how ya been?"

Focus on the moment, Bret. Forget the article. She repeated these words a few times to herself and finally felt herself calming down.
She grinned and chuckled charmingly.
"Can't criticize you back. I like that."
She turned back to the piece.
"Though, in a way, art can criticize you. I mean, sometimes you see things in art that make you feel guilty about yourself. Like, photos of kids in third world countries. Art's all about the emotion."
She blushed and rolled her eyes with a smile, tucking her hair behind her ear.
"Sorry, didn't mean to go all philosophical there. I've been good! Really good. And you?"

Oz smiled, and nodded.
"Philosophical,Politcal,Hell, even seductive,art can call to everyone."
He said, smoothing back his hair with his hands.
"And dont apologize about going all preachy. I feel the same,and wish everyone felt that way about the wonderful world of art."
He smiled, looking back at the picture.
"Artist did an amazing job here..Amazing brush strokes.."
Then he turned back to her.
"You're looking lovely this evening."
He felt he should apologize for the article..He felt sure everyone had seen it, and he hadnt reallyknown her when he had made the statement..So his cheeks sure were red that night.
"Hey, I uh, I wanted to apologize..If ya know, you read that one article by Lorenz.."
Then he blushed, and stammered a bit, trying hard to lookher in the eyes, but his own eyes kept wandering off, trying depseratly not to let her see his shame.
