Lela blushed at his last compliment and hid behind her hands and ducked her head a bit. "Not all of you are assholes. I've met really interesting characters. You, and, oh.. What was his name...? The guy with the long hair?" With a sigh, Lela admitted defeat on his name. American's had funny names anyway.
She didn't answer his question for the same sake he wanted. Just a light, casual conversation that could have something behind it. "But... I-I do.... find you handsome. And so does everyone who watches whatever show you are on, I'm quite sure. I stand about as much chance as a girl in the audience. But that's fine. Focus on careers first, hm?" She couldn't believe she just said that out loud. Groaning inwardly, she wished she would have known how to close her big mouth.

He smiled. "I dont look the a*****e part? Its funny..I tend to play those parts, and thats how everyone sees me." He smiled as she blushed, ducking behind her hands.
Every girl in the audience? Ha! Laleh wasnt throwing herself at him, saying Take me now!' He shook his head, a bemused look upon his face.
"Well I think you stand MORE of a chance then any girlin the audience..Lets faceit, you have substance. Girls in the audience, only want one thing."
Not that he didnt want to give it to them, but there were so many girls and so little time, that he didnt feel the need, nordid he want, to pick girls at random.

She bit her lip at that and smiled brightly, her face still flushed. She had more of a chance? Excellent. Maybe she could put that to good use. "Well... I'm... glad at that. I mean.. of that. That... I have more substance than them." Sex scared her, honestly, and she wasn't even thinking like that.
Noticing her glass was empty, she flagged down the bartender again and ordered another round of each of their drinks and gave Oz her best pleading look. "Will you come drink with me again, once? Like... this time meaning to run into each other... Instead of me flagging you down?"

He cocked his head, a knowing little grin spreading across his features as he looked deep into her eyes. He knew she would blush, it was just something he could tell hemade her do. Which was fine with him. A woman blushing was a compliment.
"Oooh, Laleh, are you asking me on a date?" He asked, thanking the bartender who brought the drinks over, and giving her a thank you nod. Taking a gulp of it, he put the glass back down and looked back at her.
"He wouldnt mind a date. After all, it had been forever since he had actually dated, maybe it would be good to get out in the open with someone elseon his sleeve.

She bit on her thumb, taking her drink and nodded a bit. "...That's what you call it, I guess. A date?" She nodded again and took a gulp of her drink and nudged his foot again with her own. But this time, she was bold enough to run her toes up the back of his calf, as far as she could before she pulled away and put both of her feet back to her area, licking suddenly dry lips.
Her face was still red, but it wasn't as red as before. It was her first time asking someone out, but not her first date. ...But her first date in America so technically it would be her first date.

He smiled, feeling a jolt of a tickling sensation up the back of his leg, divided only by his jean.
"Yes, its called a date, and Id be honored to be at your side for a planned, expected meeting." He smiled, giving her arm a little squeeze with his own hand.
"So, is it drinks that night? Or shall we do something different than we're doing tonight?"
He stirred his drink again, looking back up at her and chuckling.

She wanted to take that pale hand in her own, but she clutched her glass and shrugged. Lela didn't plan very well, but she thought she could handle this. "....We could start with a couple of drinks. Then go singing in those... bars. I do not remember the names of them right now. But you get on stage, pick a song and sing with the lyrics?"
The language barrier.. ah, she hated it. She knew the term in her mother language, but this was America.

"Ah, pretty one, You'd have to pump me full of drinks to get me on stage singing. Kareoke, and Oz, arent a goodmatch. There is a reason I act." He started laughing, feeling the effects of the drink as he was more on the borderline of almost drunk. But he'dalways been a good drunk, never bad,and some had almost an impossibletime of pointing it out. He just wasnt affected by alcohol the way most were.
"But if thats where you'd like to go, Id love to hear your voice."

"Kareoke! That's what it was." She sighed when he knew the word and gave a laugh at the comment, pretty much ignoring the 'pretty one' comment. She was starting to feel the affect, but hers were lighter than his were. Still, she now had a song stuck in her head and she started humming it a little. It was an old tune.
"Kiss me out of the bearded barley Nightly, beside the green, green grass Swing, swing, swing the spinning step You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress..."
Her voiced faded after that line, humming the rest and laughing a bit, shaking her head. Drinking caused her to sing even more, and it wasn't the greatest in the world, but she wasn't really trying, was she? She didn't have anyone to impress.

He smiled. "You, have a gift." He said, raising his glass to hers.
"Cheers, to a lovely night, and an approaching date, where we shall actually meet up, planned, and anticipated."
He smiled, taking a gulp, which happened to be the last of his drink. He put the glass back down on the table smiling.
"Ive never been on a date with a singerbefore." He said smiling.

She answered the smile, and the glass and downed the last of her glass. It would be the last for her tonight. She couldn't afford to be drunk. She didn't know what kind of drunk she was, an honestly? Lela didn't want to find out. Pushing a hand through brown hair, the girl gave a smile and a shrug. "It isn't different from a regular girl, I think. ...I'm not famous. I won't draw attention."
