I am taking a vacation from this guild.
I have closed the roleplay I was running - and I was not involved in another other roleplays, because that roleplay was the only roleplay that was running.
When I come back, if this guild is dead, I will sell it to the highest bidder - whether they are interesting running a yuri guild, a literate guild, or neither. I can no longer ask one or two people to carry the weight of 100+ apathetic people. This has been going on since the day this guild was created - after being petitioned by 50+ people begging me to create a literate yuri guild, only 5 bothered to post in it......... and the situation has never changed. Everyone says they want a literate yuri guild, no one wants to help make it real.
Even more disappointing is the fact that everyone seems to want to make this guild some big secret - I have observed everyone active in this guild, and with one exception, everyone has had at least one case where someone has said to them that they wanted a literate yuri roleplay, and they just did not bother to tell them about the guild. Why not? I ask. The person looking for a roleplay would be happy, the guild member would be happy (because the guild would be more active)......... why would you keep it secret? (And the only person who has consistently pushed the guild is the one person here who has no interest in yuri or roleplaying at all!)
I have tried begging, I have tried setting rules, I have tried contests and prizes....... and now I give up. Now it is entirely in the hands of the membership, and the crew will not carry them anymore. If you like this guild, save it.
