Valelldia smiled at the newcomer, and offered her hands forth in a gypsy greeting.
"Welcome, Gwynna- I hope you'll stay with us for a spell. And you as well, Veshengo- and of course there's something in the pack for you." She spoke as they walked back towards the encampment- and she laughed to see that Oq had taken the bouncy young Rojiza in her lap, and that Anezka had already crawled up to their new member.
"It looks like you're fitting in well, sister..." she said, beaming at the younger girl. Oqaia just gave a look of surprise that Val had come back so quickly, and ran her fingers through Rojiza's nut brown hair.
"They're beautiful," she said to their mothers, and then a separate smile to Valelldia, meaning it as a compliment for her, as well. And Val accepted it as such, since, like all the gypsies, she felt like they were her children, too. They were such a family that it was almost so.
She took one of the packs in her hands- it was less full now, for the already generous givings- but took a small vial of red liquid, ensconsed in blown glass, and passed it to Veshengo. The stopper was a pure red bloodstone, carved at the tip into a heart.
"These next two gifts are different than the others," she explained, "a gift for being with us- but that don't hold quite the same power as those with Fortunettes will need to protect their young, and help them grow into their magical powers. For you, Veshengo- that is a serum that, when drank, will allow one person to see you in the light that you've always wished them to. It's not a love serum, for it cannot make anyone feel something they don't... but instead, they will understand you... completely. And for certain, if that isn't love," she smiled mysteriously, "I don't know what is."
The other gift she didn't pull from the pack- but instead, she took it off her own finger. It was a ring- so simple it was beautiful, carved from a single spray of a jasper-green stone that had strains of pink and blue through it, like a fiery opal... and it came to a head in the shape of an open flower, just at the point where the natural color fibers in the stone turned to that rich, mysterious pink.
"And this... will summon a nymph- a goddess of the forest... but only once," she warned, passing the treasure to Gwynna. "They are magical and generous, and can help in many different ways. So use this wisely," she said gently.

Veshengo graciously accepted the gift, bowing his head to both Oqaia and Valelldia. He placed the vial in his pocket and then folded his arms across his chest, glancing out of the corner of his eye at Leshya'e. I think I might have a use for this serum.

Gwynna took Valleldia's hands and returned the greeting. "I thank you for your kindness," she said formally.
She watched carefully as Veshengo recieved his gift... And to her surprise, Valleldia had something for her as well. Gwynna stared at the ring in awe. Not even the leaders of her family's caravan had jewelry so fine! The way the sun caught it, the delicate carving, and the promise of magic... She shook her head, some part of her wanting to refuse the gift, but her hand moved seemingly of its own accord. She slipped the ring onto her right ring-finger, amazed and yet not surprised that it fit perfectly. She smiled up at Valleldia, her face full of wonder and appreciation. "It's beautiful," she murmured. "I will be careful," she nodded, taking the warning to heart.

Maybe she had been slow but a fuss could be heard and the young gypsy girl was curious as to what it was all about. She soon however, still clinging to the lamp that she would never put down, walked over towards the noise. She kept out of view for a while just listening to what was being said. She could actually be seen but in her mind she could not so standing where she was had to be a good place to stay.
She could see things being given out but that was more of an incentive to stay put then to move forward. She was happy "hiding" after all she was always the one to watch and never join in.

Val noticed the newcomer standing out of the way, trying to be as unobtrusive as possible, and she smiled to herself. She'd soon learn that it was hard to hide anything from this mistress of the caravan.
"And for you," she said, looking directly at the shadow-like gyspy, "I have this..." she pulled something from the very bottom of one of the bags- the last thing in that pack. It was a velvet, black bag held together by a white drawstring. She spilled some of the contents out into the woman's hand. They were pearls. "These are mermaid pearls, used to create light... and fire. Watch..." Val took one between her fingers, and suddenly tossed it into the air. As soon as it hit the dark sky, it became a secondary moon, shining in the air.
"It won't last forever," she eplained... "but it will create illusion. They can also create fire." She took one more, and threw it to the ground. At that point, fire burst into a spiraling tunnel that echoed up to the sky. "So use them wisely." She handed her the bag.

Tierra's eyes widened at the mock moon and she felt a surge of power. The silver hairs on her body stood on end as she sat up on her knees, looking about wildly. o0 "Oh my!" She whipsered an apology to Anezka who could understand her perfectly. The others, well... not yet. "Ma' Apologize"... *she stood up quickly* " Ma' Name is Tierra!...*she looks around and wrung her pitchfork* I .. am tuckered or else I woulda been more... well, I ... it tis nice to me everyone," she turned a crimson red and sat back down with a plop and hastily pulled Anezka into her lap and pat her to calm herself.

The girl was slightly shocked that she was noticed but took the bag and smiled her thanks, her lamp still being held close to her. "Thank you!" She bowed her head as she moved slowly back into the shadows, quite a contridiction from most things as she carried a lamp around had just been given some pearls that create light but yet she stayed hidden in the shadows, strange really.

Silver smiled at Val's sister and nodded her head in greeting to Tierra, who looked quite nervous. She also acknowleged the strange girl with the lamp, Veshengo, and the woman who was with him. She was happy to see new faces among the caravan members. Then, the smile disappeared from her face. She stood up quickly as though she had forgotten something, and excused herself from the group. "You'll have to forgive me, ladies, sir, but I must be going." Her hand went to her sore shoulder before she realized it. "It... it was nice meeting all of you. I hope we can all spend more time together later. Perhaps get to know each other better?" She only half-smiled, her mind occupied by the fact that she had left Aisrhan alone for way too long, and headed back to her wagon, but not before catching Val's eye with a quick, nervous glance over her shoulder.

Anezka wrinkled her nose and wiggled a bit, slightly miffed at the odd new ladies reactions to the "secondary moon". She calmed, however, when she was pulled onto Tierra's lap. She smiled and tugged on some of Tierra's hair while sucking on her fingers.

Leshya'e jumped slightly, then quickly calmed down. Well, she's not crying or struggling...so be calm...she's not going to be hurt...she's just fine. Twirling and fiddling with her hair, she gazed off into the trees.

"Well then," Val said, "I think there's just one more gift to give, before we follow Silver's suit and go for the night." She turned to Tierre and handed her the only thing left in the second bag. It was a small object- a vial that fit in the palm of her hand, wrapped in silver. Exposing the tip showed- that it was a lip-color.
"It's an unconventional gift..." Val explained, "it was given to me by an Amazon seductress. It's extremely powerful... and when words are spoken between lips covered in this, they sound... honeyed, convincing. And if you kiss someone with this on, they'll be even more swayed to listen to you, even do what you say."
"And if that's it," she said, giving everyone a loving look, "I'm going to repair to Whistle Stick. If I have forgotten anyone, please come by tomorrow morning, and I will make sure to give you something worthy of you. Sleep well, newcomers- you will find that there are wagons enough for all. Good night."
And with that, she was gone, hobbling off into the night on her sore leg.

Tierra looked at her new item curiously. Smiled when given the gift, but puzzled at it...pondering its possible use. Man... men... she hadn't thought about the prospects. Not with practically being a wild woman, besides... who would love a Lycan? "Aw hell," she thought to herself. She longed to put it on her lips. To doll herself up. She giggled at the silver case, rolling it around her hand. Silver for a werewolf... Lipstick for a Lycan. She couldnt hold back the giggling. Tierra looked down at Anezka and tickled her ear. " We are a strange and beautiful lot, aren't we lil' one? The scent of spice an flowers an perfume, wood and... *she sniffed the air along with Anezka* ... Man?!" She blushed violently and bustled to collect herself and her things and eased herself up and away from the embers of the campfire. Leaving the others who remained chattering happily and marveling at their gifts.
Briskly trotting back to her wagon she shook her head and mumbled at herself. "Oh for the love of..." "the Moon?!," said Chester. "um... well, no... not really...*She sighed and layed her gifts down inside as she hunched in front of her door, which was several feet off the ground...she enjoyed running and jumping inside* "Wha' am I gonna do?! I like em' I do... all of em'...well, as far as I can smell. But what of the moon? What about ma' shiftin'? Do you think they'll fancy me then?" She looked Positively panickstricken. With a heavy sigh she hopped inside and the heavy wooden door shut behind her.
