My bro was roaming around the iternet, and found out that during the Pantera days, Dimebag didn't use his signature Dimebucker series pickups, he used Bill Lawrence L500XL pickups. He wants to know which one would be better for all around good tone and playability. Which one is better, Dimebucker or L500Xl?

I don't know from experience, but I've heard the Dimebucker really blows. Dime did use the L500XL, so I imagine it is probally better.

the bill one is better , it has good highs and lows .

dime used the 500XL through out 99% of his career...id go with that
