Thanksgiving Dinner? - Problem SOLVED! This thread is for those of you who might be having a little trouble with the thanksgiving list. What to buy, and what to serve for your meal! I'll make 2 different lists according to, the regular menu (regular for me) and the first timer's, cheaper list, or the college student's thanksgiving. If you have any suggestions/comments, please let me know! Thanks!

Tips for a Wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner* If you don't have the time/money/space to make a thanksgiving meal, invite people over and have them bring certain dishes (Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, etc.).
* Decorate your table with a few small pumpkins are dried corn. It'll make the table festive and beautiful with no time. Also, light a few cinnamon candles around the house.
* If you use FRESH herbs, it can make the meal taste a LOT better then using canned herbs. I'd highly recommend it if you have the extra money.
* Make sure to seat your guests properly and put out name tags at their seat! Keep troublesome Uncles away from the easily pissed off Grandma, etc.
* Don't eat the stuffing that you put into the Turkey.. it's unhealthy.
* If you decide to deep fat fry your turkey, please research on how to do this safely, there are a huge amount of fires every year due to people cooking their turkey this way and doing it wrong.
* If you're in need for a different recipe or looking for something interesting to make, these are the two best recipe websites IMO. AllRecipes.com and Recipezaar.com

A quick addendum to this, so that no-one gets scared away from eating the stuffing in their turkey...if you MAKE SURE that the stuffing is heated to 165 degrees F, any bacteria from the turkey will be KILLED. However, when you stuff a turkey, more than likely, the turkey is done before the stuffing reaches this temp - so if you take the stuffing out and heat it up in a pan, it IS safe...just make sure you heat it through to 165!
