Be wary of blind faith and take everything with a grain of salt. Basically, what you should do with institution and organization.

God bless you! Always glad to hear I've got a new brother or sister. A good place to start is the Bible. It can be pretty confusing, so I'd try and find one that has the notes in the bottom. They can help point out things that you never would've understood if you'd just read it. Church is also a good place to look, but try going to a few (if at all possible) to see which one you like best. Or you could try simply finding a church that posts its sermons online, and listening to them from the comfort of your computer chair.

1. To repent of your sins and put your faith in Christ is the only way to be saved. -Repentance is feeling sorry for your sins and deciding to turn away from them the rest of your life. -Faith is believing in what is not seen. 2. Ephesians 2: 8-9 "For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith- and this is not of yourselves, it is a gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast."
And there's more! smile

Read the Bible, ask someone qualified to teach it to you. The best way to know God is through His word.

Study the Bible daily. Pray ceaselessly. Be in tune to the Holy Spirit at all times.

Reading the Bible is definitely where you should start. I say, start with one of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John), and then read Romans, which goes into a lot of what Christians believe.
God bless!

thanks, I have read a bit, but it is still very confusing, I went to Church, but that confused me a little, but I understood quite a bit too. I have been told that God is a power, like, he doesn't control us, but he is what we do? Xx

Polly 999 thanks, I have read a bit, but it is still very confusing, I went to Church, but that confused me a little, but I understood quite a bit too. I have been told that God is a power, like, he doesn't control us, but he is what we do? Xx More than just a power. And He has a plan for all of us. We can't really defy it, because we don't really know it.

I ahve a bible that is easy to read. It is Women's Devotional Bible 2. New International Version. Zondervan Publishing House. It's a daily reading bible. It has little stories and gives you something easy to read every day.

The Beautiful jewel I ahve a bible that is easy to read. It is Women's Devotional Bible 2. New International Version. Zondervan Publishing House. It's a daily reading bible. It has little stories and gives you something easy to read every day. While that is a nice concept, i would still advise you read the full Bible (I advise Young Litterals Translation as it is the least murderd) then you get the full picture and you can read it how it is meant to be, not how a seperate author has interpritated
