You've obviously never been in a so indie it hurts group. Not all of them know music. If you talk to different individuals who are hip on your local and independant music scenes, you may find some bands that have no idea what they're doing, but just happen to excrete ridiculous, sometimes downright insane music like some kind of bodily fluid.
Or just google popular indie bands (is that an oxymoron?) or something. If it actually works, your head just might asplode.

I broke up with my girlfriend, so the less time I spend at home, the better really. I have a character flaw in that I take things too hard.
Finding it excrutiatingly hard to finish any song any more. When the first one comes I'll just have to roll with it and spit out my 21 track album I keep talking about.

Haha, we have an indie group like that on campus. The best part? They try to sing....it is so amusing. A couple of them also play the lute!

Let me turn you onto something slightly vulgar and VERY good, just for your listening pleasure. They're a band out of Melbourne, Australia. They do indie awkward like nobody's business, and I genuinely enjoy Martin's voice.
The name of the group is Martin Martini and the Bonepalace Orchestra. Give 'em your ears, you probably won't be disappointed. Their first album, Dream Until You Die, is the only thing I've heard by them, but there isn't a bad song on that one. This is the sort of music that you involuntarily move to, even in the calmer places. Somehow they do wonderful music that you can dance to, it's bizzare.

Hannibal Mannibal I stayed up until 11 last night doing my ******** you. =( Hate that class, but I better get a badass grade in it if I want to get into Berklee or Musician's Institute. I doubt the latter, though, because LA apparently has the most ridiculous cost of living ever... but I'll probably apply just to see if I get accepted. I want to go to Berklee. My old guitar instructor went there, he said he was awesome.
