So, I went to bed around midnight and woke up at 3:45AM on October 30th. We jumped into our clothes and hit the road to get to the local arena, the SHOWME center. We got there at 5 and the line was already half a block long. It turns out that over 3k people came to see the govornor but only 2,000 were able to fit into the center. About 500 people fit into an overflow room that had a large screen that they could watch her speak from there.

Surprisingly there were no protestors. =]

We got inside and heard some republican candidates for local offices speak then JoAnn Emmerson spoke and introduced Gov. Palin.

We were RIGHT up front, something I do a lot when attending big events like this. xD! Panic At the disco front rail twice. xD!!

After she spoke we got to shake her hand. xD! When she saw a lady who had a daughter with downsyndrom she stopped to talk with her for a couple of minutes despite her handlers telling her to move along the row of people.

And this guy^ he was super attractive, so I snapped a picture of him. We nicknamed him Jack because he just looked like a "Jack" <3 xD!
