Well, as I am captain of a guild, this guild, I am able to find out things before others do about the GGN...from the Captains Guild.
And from what Ive heard, Subforums are coming...next week I believe.
So the discussion is:
How would you want to divide this guild into subforums? Like, suggestions for subforums...
AND
Do you think that would be a good use of the guild fund? Because rumor is that subforums are the first purchasable things with guild money...
Discuss... (Yeah I hang out in GD a lot razz )

Hmmm... what about a subforum for each DT Member? Talk about their sideprojects, gear, collaborations, or anything by them? Although that may spread the conversation a little thin. I've noticed many don't talk about Myung. xp I'm assuming most of the attention will be placed on Portnoy, Petrucci, and Labrie.
Just an idea, though.

I have to agree on the discussion that subforums would be somewhat useless due to the fact that there is not too much traffic here. Though the idea of having band member subforums accessable would make things a lot of fun. I suppose my input would be more valuable when more suggestions roll in because I can't think of anything else at the moment.

I say you should reach 100 members first before buying anything like that... But it'd be less messy to have them subs, that's for sure.

If you're just looking for something basic to start with, make one for the band, and then another for everything non Dream Theater related. Later you could divide the DT section into side projects or one for each member, and the general into things like other bands or politics or whatever you can think of.
