Well, I wasn't too far, for now I am here again.
And WHOA MAN!!! It's some hard work. I mean, not too hard yet, but the work is pretty hard. Most everyday I pull invasive species, which means I'm removing ammophila which is a european beach grass that has destroyed many coastal ecosystems.

Well it's not actually a pesticide, it's grass. But it is horribly destructive. And it's a pain in the a** to remove.

It doesn't actually feed off the other life, but it chokes out the other plants, and it ruins the habitat by stabilizing the dunes.

Well, *rips all sheets of paper* I have no idea what to categorize it as. rofl Though if its being dominant.....their is a term for that, which I learned in AP Biology, but sadly, i can't remember it right now. whee So, its growth is like any other plant life around it. 3nodding

Well if you want to classify it it's grass. And it's not like the other life forms because the root system is very different from the native plants. For ammophila has deep roots and most of the natives have very shallow surface roots.

*sigh* well, i guess that means, we either need more people to pitch in, or, find a away to permanently stop their growth, in some way, that does not involve waiting. xd whee
