Well seems they've fixed the Hubble and it is again transmitting data down to us on the ground. Though they have to push the servicing mission back again due to not being able to have the replacement parts in time for a February launch.
So a question... is the Hubble worth servicing, or should we just let it putter out and wait for the replacement around 2013 or so?
Interested in peoples thoughts on this.

Honestly I'm surprised that they haven't cut funding already. The information from the Hubble is invaluable to scientists but I'm afraid that many taxpayers don't see the value.
