There are a lot of bands out there that hate my band because in every competition we go to we come out on top. I'm not bragging, I don't like to brag, it's just a statement of the fact.
Well, last saturday we went to Mizzou for the Homecoming parade, and the Director of another band said something to my BD that my BD didn't like. (I never quite learned what it was,but it was something along the lines of "my band is gonna push your band to the bottom") Which caused us to play Barnum and Bailey's Favorite (our marching song) as that band went out. Which caused said band's director* to shout"GET A NEW SONG!!!" Which caused my BD to shout back: "I'D LIKE TO SEE YOUR BAND PLAY IT!"
Which brings me to my question. Marching rivalry anyone?
*The director of that band was a student teacher under my directors so he thinks he knows all our "secrets", and thus can beat us. He hasn't done it yet, but he has put together a pretty good band.

well, duh! the school down the street that's superior to all in the country! Avon Highschool! then the third superior, Carmel!

When we were in Tournament of Bands, ours and everyone else's rival was Lancaster Catholic because they won everything every year. and they were just so darn good. Look them up on youtube their "Noah" ACCs show.
But now that we're in Cavalcade of Bands, everyone's rival is Warwick, the school right near us. they win because they have this Samuri show and they do these karate moves. stare

my band: Red Wing highschool Marching Wingers
our rival: The Lake City Tiger Band
every other year we are out for blood with them but this past year sucked, so we got demolished

crystal river and citrus omg!!!!!!!! we were hosting a festival hurricane pride invitational marching band festival (hpimbf) and the crystal river parents would not let the band even EAT at our school!!!!!!!

But now that we're in Cavalcade of Bands, everyone's rival is Warwick, the school right near us. they win because they have this Samuri show and they do these karate moves. stare lancaster catholic didnt go to accs this year. this year springford won. the rivalry is Springford, Northern York, Upper Darby, and Daniel Boone (who got third...finally) Im from DB. we are not going back to cavalcade because of the bad relationship between our band and that circuit. were are just going to do TOB, and USSBA.

we don't really have a rivalry cuz we go to comp for fun. were not really a competing band, but we like to win. but everyone in my band LOVES antelope valley cuz we always beat them.
