Shamela by Henry Fielding. This novel is a 1741 parody of the 1740 novel Pamela (by Samuel Richardson), which was a sensation among the hoi polloi, and the cause of much grievance among the higher literary world.
Are you enjoying LoTF? I find it to be quite deep and profoundly thought-provoking. Does the professor explain the symbolism and metaphor, or are you left to decipher it yourselves?

The Sphere of Secrets
Read the Oracle Betrayed if you want to read this one, that's the first in the series and it is amazingly well written. They are almost meant to be reread as there is so much inside the story
