Her back was accustomed to carrying her blade with its sheath banded and tied securely. So, she passed through the doors of this tavern rather stiffly; the sword was like a back brace for excellent posture. She walked through quickly and carefully enough like fluid motion nonetheless. The woman was not much in height nor appearance, but the formality of her placid nature eerily complimented the intensity of a battle arena's tavern. She stood at the empty space for a second as she looked around. The cat tied to her head seemed to see more than her eyes, and both were covered by her hair.

Soon enough, she found comfort on a dog-eared bar stool and daintily sat down. It was too early for a drink really, and so she proceeded to simply watch reruns playing on a mounted television screen. With her head tilted up towards it, one scarred eye peeked through the strands of hair. Occasionally, her fingers dipped into a peanut tray before her, and she twisted the shells off like paper. >crrraach

The door shuddered a bit then swung open. Her hand pulling away from the grainy surface as she walked across the room. The weight of her thoughts more than evident in her steps. They fell heavily on the floor but not without some trace of grace still evident.

Kade would sink into the first chair she passed. The Steyr in all its grandeur, at least in her eyes, tossed aside. Left to helplessly slide across the table where it would waver on the edge, within adamant danger of falling over. Fully loaded with the safety turned off no doubt.

Her chin was propped up thoughtfully, fingers splayed across her jaw indefinably. The other five long forgotten as they came to rest along her neck. Her eyes appeared haunted as she stared across the table, across the room. What passed through her field of vision, living or not wouldn't truly be seen.

She needed a drink.

Kade had discarded her jacket some time ago, as evident by the steam coiling from the ancient appearing teapot. The outside was worn and failed to shine in several places but it did succeed in getting the job done. The water was almost done.

Perched behind the bar, she'd drug a barstool after her. Placing it in front of an earthy colored mug. As the water finished boiling she sat on the stool. Chin resting back in the confines of her hands with her legs twisted around the bottom rungs. Her hair was in disarray, her eyes half closed as an uneasy and tired breath escaped.

As Kadire rose to fetch the kettle, her muscles flexed beneath her skin never faltering in drawing a grimace or two from her face. It would take little to notice the smudges and light colored bruises that disrupted her completion. She had never bought the idea that such marks gave character, really, who's shoulders needed character?

Before settling back on the seat, she gracefully tipped the spout over her mug, a flood of steam fighting against the current as it tumbled from the wide opening. Once it cleared, her attention would fall on the dark green leafy ball that had been resting on the mug's bottom once upon a time. With the hot water's caress it floated and twirled in the glass. It's outer most layer blooming in a green flower. A fury of tiny dried white petals with several breaks of yellow spilling from it's center. In the span of a few minutes an intoxicating floral green tea smell would radiate outward from the cup. And hopefully a sense of rest for the young woman.
