I hate to say this, but Blizzard screwed up big time. The classes and talent specs are so overpowered in certain situations, it's stupid! On my Arena geared Warrior (Approximately 12K HP) and the new Fury spec, there are Retribution Paladins two-shotting me in PvP.
My Warlock is a joke.
My Restoration Druid can't survive.
My Rogue is overpowered (I hate to say it, but it's true).
My Hunter is being out DPSed in raids.
My Mage is being out DPSed.
My Warlock is being out DPSed.
My Enhancement Shaman is being out DPSed.
And all the while there are these Retribution Paladins #1 on the DPS meter? C'mon, Blizzard, give me a break!
I hate to ramble on and complain about this, but Blizzard thinks that they've "balanced the classes out"? *laughs*
And they added way too much stuff at the same time, the patch and Halloween events... I hearthed to Shattrath, Scryer side and guess what? There was no Shattrath. I couldn't log out, it said I was moving, I couldn't fly, it said I was in combat, couldn't even alt-F4... I had to pull up my Task Manager and crash the game... Whenever somebody raided a city for their achievements, the server lagged so badly it would crash.
That weekend, we couldn't do -anything- and I mean anything. Raids were down and so were dungeons... The server was too laggy to even attempt doing anything anyway. It's a joke.

ALL CLASSES ARE GONNA GET NERFED IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER AS BLIZZ STARTS TO GIVE OUT MORE PATCHES,
THIS IS TEMPORARY SO DUN LET IT GET TO YA,
AND YES PALLYS ARE CRAZY RIGHT NOW,
BUT IMO THEY NEEDED IT, ESPECIALLY RET PALLYS, SO LET'EM HAVE THERE FUN BEFORE IT BECOMES BALANCED AGAIN

Warlocks are bad, resto druids are good healers in pve, rogues are middle ground (never really tested them since I don't have a rogue), hunters are OP and the easiest class to play in PVE (LOL OMG STEADY SHOTx∞ FOR 6K DPS HARD GAME IS HARD), mages are good at 80 when they get the super scaling frostfire bolt, enhancement shamans are good.
Paladins still not number one on DPS. Will go down once JotW has been nerfed to 15% which I believe is now.
Probably your computer/server.

It is not my computer, trust me. Gamer Paladin 850XZ w/o Vista, no AddOns, no viruses/bugs?
My comp is fine.
Wanna see my server? Look up US Bloodhoof. Horde side is purely PvP, trust me. Alliance, Fury of War can be nuts but, overall Alliance are PvE.

Is all I'm getting out of the OP.
First off, have you never experienced the week after a huge patch? s**t happens ALL THE TIME. You have noooo ******** idea how hard it is to keep a game that huge running perfectly all the time. They added a lot of new s**t, yes. Part of the patch is fine-tuning it and the week after is bound to be buggy and terrible. If you don't like it, cancel your sub and stop whining, because nothing is going to change, no matter how much you whine and cry about it.
Something no one is getting is that this s**t is supposed to be balanced FOR LEVEL 80 GAMEPLAY. And if its not quite balanced then, they'll fix it as best they can. Blizzard has always done a pretty good job balancing classes out- something that is incredibly hard to do.
I can handle Ret pallies getting a boost. They've always been terribly underpowered, I see no reason not to fix that.
My prot warrior got a huge boost, my shadowpriest not so much. I also have a resto druid, and am content with the changes. Resto druids were overpowered in pvp anyway, they got balanced out. Nothing wrong with that.
The tables got turned, and you happened to be on the wrong side of things. Cry some more.

I'm pretty sure it's already been announced that ret pallies are gonna get nerfed in the next patch.
Classes are always wonky after a major reconstruction, with all the new talents and etc. Just enjoy the craziness while it happens... imo the best time is when its all unbalanced and crazy, look for fun glitches and loops while they are there wink

Guild Wars, WoW, Warcraft series, Prince of Persia series, Civilization, Sacred 1 & 2, Fable, Quake, Unreal Tournament... Hm, that's about it for games I actually still play.
