Hey guys!
I am working on a new website that is sort of an extension of the Lolita handbook on Livejournal here since it seems that it is no longer being updated, and important information that is no longer correct is still being advertised as correct. (Ex: LingLam is a great seller on the hand book) It will pick up where the handbook left off as a sort of Magazine. It is going to be hosted by the loligothDBS.

This idea hit me last night so there isn't much on there yet. I was wondering if there would be anyone interested in:

A. Helping me with this endeavor.
B. Writing a weekly(or monthly) article about different things, like fashions, hair and beauty tips, etc. Or anyone that might want to contribute to things.
C. Someone who wants to help create a better layout (As I have no clue how and just picked up a premade)

Of course you will not be paid for these services as I don't have the money to do things like that. The website itself is a .bravehost thing. My goal is to make a website that is updated fairly often, especially with information regarding seller/buyers for beginning lolita. I would love to have a community that will connect Lolita and be run BY lolita for lolita so it will have accurate information for beginners to look to.

It's only in the beginning stages, and I myself cannot know everything, so if someone wants to fill me in on bad/good sellers, places to buy from, great scans and pictures etc. that would be greatly appreciated!

You can reply here, or email me at gardenteaparty.webmaster [at] gmail.com (of course the [at] should be replaced with the @ symbol....)

We already have places like this, like it's been mentioned before on EGL.

-Lolita Handbook
-lolitafashion.org
-loligothdbs

You cannot make a website "extension" of the Lolita Handbook without the maker's (carnet_atelier) permission, because otherwise you'll just be seen as plagiarizing and stealing work. "Picking up where the Handbook left off", that would be valid, but making the "Lolita Handbook" a site itself without the original creator's permission isn't.

And speaking that a lot of people here aren't quite experienced themselves, and those who -do- give advice look to and respect the articles mentioned before, I don't think this is the proper forum to be asking.

it is picking up where it left off, and infact it is more of a online magazine. i just wasn't sure how to state that. Also, this will be hosted by the loligothDBS, and is supported byt the original creator of the Lolita handbook.

Also, way to insult almost every lolita here by saying they aren't competent enough to write an article in a magazine, contribute pictures, or information, links or even artwork to use on the site. Good job!
