blood red, so dark with desire, who cannot but stare in awe? with blood comes life, with blood comes death, we as humans need blood, beasts as beasts need blood, some survive on blood, some survive because of of blood, why does the life of another sustain oneself? would that not make them barbaric? no, we all need things to survive, to sustain ones own being, we all desire after one thing or another, we all have needs, wants, things other would consider "bad", "disgusting", "barbaric", is it so wrong to want after that which gives life? that which gives death? please, please try before you judge,
an ode to vampires, who can not speak for themsleves

I loved it and could tell about half way through that it was about vampires before even reading the bottom line. Very well written!
