There was an awful lot of commotion. Belle, whose face was covered in chocolate and whose fingers were sticky from sweets, cowered in fear as some invisible force rattled the gazebo. Suddenly confused and axious, the toddler blinked and pursed her lips as she peered around the giant, card-board cut out of Frankenstein to see what in the hell was going on. She couldn't believe her eyes. In less than fifteen seconds, their jolly celebration had transformed into a slough of chaos. One moment the gazebo was there and the next, it was being sucked into the floor and a strange looking, very angry lady had practically popped out of the ground.
For a moment, the little girl forgot herself and choked on a half-eaten toffee. Her throat constricted painfully around the candy and tears sprung to her eyes as she coughed. It was hard to see. Frantic to know what was going on, Belle thumped on her little chest with a hearty fist and gasped when the toffee slipped free. She was sore from the inconvenience, but the discomfort was easy for her to ignore in the wake of so much bizarre activity.
Despite the way the winds and the sounds and the smells seemed to tug at her little frame, Belle sat back and observed as Riddick struggled to escape whatever it was that had hold of him. Then, when Owen tried to rescue him and the pair went tumbling into the ground, it occurred to her to find Green. If anything could keep her from the mysterious depths of the silvery pool, it was the safety of her mother's arms. Green was, however, nowhere in site.
Belle's bottom lip quivered uncertainly as she inched towards the place in the ground where the green haired lady had come from. The sounds- they were so pretty. At the edge of the shimmering liquid, she stared, wide-eyed and slack-jawed, at the beautiful country on the other side.
This was a portal, to another land! She was vividly reminded of the movie Space Jam, where that michael basketball what's-his-face was sucked right into the ground. Maybe this time, just like then, Bugs Bunny was on the other side, urging her towards him with a giant magnet. Oh, how she'd like to meet him!
Suddenly, venturing into the unknown didn't seem so horrible. With a delighted laugh, Belle took a running leap at the pool and cannonballed in.

Naida never heard Regina's answer. The gazebo exploded with sudden violence, spraying chunks of wood into the air, and for a moment she was afraid one would hit her -- but then they were safely on the ground, and instead there was a woman, and then a long, beautiful, terrible sound, and after that Naida could not begin to understand what was happening.
It was frightening, so she pressed her hands to her ears and shut her eyes tightly, although there was a part of her that wanted - no, needed - to hear the sound. A wind jerked at her suddenly, and her long hair whipped around her face and tore at her cheeks. Her wagon didn't move; but then it wasn't supposed to, she realized suddenly, it wasn't going the same place she was.
"'Bye, Mommy," she murmured, only half-conscious of her mother. She could feel, dimly, Laura's arms around her and maybe a ghost of a voice under the noise, but it was not important compared to the screaming, lovely sound and the wind.
And then her mother was not holding her, and she was not in her wagon - the wind was so strong - she was by a silver pool as beautiful and terrible as the song, and then her fingers touched the surface, which was strange and cold to her, and then she was gone.

Adam felt odd pricklings of something in the air though he merely shook them off as paranoia and eyes watching his every move. Yet, within several moments, between him trying to work up a response something put to him there was a moment were chaos erupted centered around the gazebo. He stared as the woman appeared and then she had disappeared once more as her word rang in his ears more so than the thunderous sounds that seemed to follow afterwards.
There was a terrible moment where he felt inexplicably angry at that woman but not for reasons he knew or expected. It wasn’t the fact that she had pointed at him and spoke as if he had done her some great wrong but it was something else. A something he couldn’t put his finger on. So he began to move forward to where the woman had disappeared. He intended to follow her damned with the bodies moving around or against him. Adam wanted answers and he was determined to go out and get them. So determined was he that he did not realize or notice whether he was being followed if at all.
Adam’s blood was pumping so furiously that he heard no sound other than the fact that his heart was pumping in his ears.

Alice was startled by the exploding Gazebo but not overly worried. She did wonder what the teenage Eden had done to the strange green haired lady to get such a response but guessed it might be personal and not something to be nosey about.
Curious about the strange happenings and the way all the other party members seemed to be going into the silver pond Alice took Evelyn's hand and headed over to the pond herself, maybe it was part of the Halloween festivities, Halloween was supposed to be a bit scary and weird afterall. She could feel the wind tugging and thought it was rude of it to forceably drag some of the younger children into the pond but the wind wasn't strong enough to force her and Evelyn was safe as long as Alice held onto her.
Pausing at the edge of the pond Alice stopped with worries for the first time since the events had started, she would have happily jumped in if everyone else was doing so but she didn't like the way some of them seemed so unhappy about going in. She didn't want to take Evelyn somewhere dangerous but the wind was getting stronger.
Alice turned a bit to ask Evelyn's opinion and that was when she noticed another child reluctantly being dragged in and like Owen before her Alice lunged after the child, letting go of Evelyn's hand to do so and therefore leaving Evelyn at the edge of the pond while she tumbled into the pond the toddler safe in her arms.

Evelyn was NOT liking how this party was going. First, that wooden thing exploded, causing her to scream and try to hide behind her mother. Then, peering around her mother's leg, she'd seen a scary woman appear. She'd missed what happened next as she'd hid her face again. But then Alice grabbed her hand and headed towards the pond. Evelyn frowned, thinking that Alice was pulling too hard... wait, that wasn't her...
The girl was confused and was glad that they'd paused at the edge of the funny looking water. But then Alice let go of her and started towards another kid. Frightened, Evelyn took off after Alice, not wanting to be left without someone with her.

Well, that was unpleasant. Garrett's sensitive ears are raped by both extreme silence, and the overexposure of sound. He buckles over and covers them at the first sign of the return of noise, which really doesn't help his situation when it comes to the swift wind pushing and shoving him toward the pool of magic now not a few feet away.
He digs the thick soles of his cowboy boots into the ground and spreads wide his wings, but this doesn't seem to deter the wind at all. He still skids across the ground even with the buffer of his open wings. The boy visible winces as the noise gets even louder, and when his hands cupped over his ears do nothing to muffle the sound anymore, he gives up, and lets himself be taken.

Unlike his friend, Nahuel had no wings to buffer against the wind. He was slowed a little by virtue of how he fell - Being upwind of Garrett, he was first pushed against his friend, and then once Garrett gave up fighting the wind, was carried along with the other boy.
"Woah!" he exclaimed, reaching up to hold his hat more securely against his head. This was his last conscious action before the pool was beneath them and the strange, quicksilver liquid and the strange land within it swallowed them both up.

Teagan felt every bit of breath being sucked from his body, it was as if she had pressed him to the wall then yanked him back, his eyes stinging as the wind picked up. His mind screamed at him to turn and run, but something in his instinct made him fall onto all fours in an odd sort of V, his tail straight up in the air, and bolt toward the pool. He had to follow her, he had to find her and get back all the time she had stolen from him. "You evil bi-" he snarled, disappearing into silver.

The teen seemed barely aware of the much faster Teagan pushing past and then into the pool leaving Adam to slip into the pool directly after the lemur teen. The slowness could have been owed to a many number of things. People brushing past him as he blindly moved forward and such. In a comical sort of way -- not that anyone would have noticed, he walked into a few things. When this is all over and Adam could assess the bruises he wouldn't remember a damned thing.

Raven was at the party by herself, just trying to relax, and she was doing a good job of it. She was starting to feel like her old self more and more, even in the weird kimono-thingy that she had for her costume. She had left Pyren's laptop that she had borrowed on the punch table in her sight, and was on the dance floor boogieing. When suddenly the gazebo splintered and a familiar face showed herself, Raven's first instinct was to flee. She ran, ran as fast as she could in the opposite direction, forgetting about the laptop. This wasn't happening, this was another stupid dream, she wasn't going back she...she was being pulled against her will. The magical force pulled her so hard that she fell to the grass and was dragged helplessly into the gaping pool, while futilely attempting to grasp onto objects, which soon lost their grip. Eventually, her grasp found Alex's leg, but that was only as she began to fall and be swept away.

Darby's sensitive ears caught the sound of the gazebo buckling before Cain even noticed. With a flying leap the ciel caught her charge and sent him toppling to the ground, just in time - the building exploded, sending a rain of shards into the air. Darby winced and hunched protectively over Cain, waiting for splinters to pepper them both...
Something pushed at her stomach. Both of her blue eyes blinked open, focusing on the space where the gazebo had been, and which now housed a silver pool. With her eyes shut, she hadn't seen the mysterious woman rise from underneath.
But Cain had. He wriggled and finally succeeded in pushing his guardian over to one side, taking in a glad breath through his crushed lungs. The toddler barely had time to pop his glasses back on before a strong gust of wind sent him skidding forward along the ground.
"Cain!" Darby had come to at last, and her terrified howl was accompanied by an even stronger push from the wind. He went rolling head over heels like a tumbleweed, too startled to even make a sound, right into the pool that had just taken Raven.

Gina had been ready to answer Naida when It happened. Her ears sunk into her hair quickly, she grimaced in pain when silence turned into loud loud noise. She reached up to cover her ears, and spotted a pair of Cowboys. Curious almost overwhelming the urge to go to the pool, she wandered towards them, stumbling a little to fight off the need to dive headfirst into the pool and wherever it was going.
Lucky for her, they seemed to be going that way, too. She followed them, and sunk into the pool with a yell. Her last conscious human thought was of Carl, and what he'd do when he realized she was gone.

The building exploding was downright cool, Aidan decided. At first, the tugging sensation wasn't so bad either. Aidan tried to take a few steps towards the strange hole in the ground where the gazebo had been, but was held back by Qing. Displeased by this, Aidan stopped pulling. The thing, whatever it was, didn't do the same for him. Now it was unpleasant, and Aidan felt like a rope in a game of tug of war.
"Don't purll so much," Qing scolded lightly. But he was curious, and still holding Aidan's hand tightly, he took a few steps towards the pool, eyeing other children as they were sucked through. It didn't occur to him that his own might suffer the same fate; when Qing was confronted with a puzzle, he saw little else.
Being closer only made the dragging feeling worse. Suddenly Aidan simply could not be held any longer. His hand wrenched away from his guardian's, and with a shriek of surprise and fury, he slid headfirst into the pool before Qing even noticed a thing.

Kirra crouched behind the apple bath as the gazebo exploded, but couldn't not watch. The green lady was so bright, just like a picture book. Her hair was so pretty… But she vanished back into her pool before Kirra could get a closer look. The wind ruffled her feathers, and she spread her little wings for balance. She felt strange. It was a dizzy feeling, like going in an elevator. A very windy elevator, full of music.
Unsteady in the driving wind, Kirra toddled towards the pool, something more than curiosity spurring her on. Maybe Green Lady needed help? All the other children were going over there, disappearing one by one. A fishy, a puppy… mottled brown wings. Garrett? He disappeared as well. There was another world down there, inside the silver.
"Mummy, can I –" she turned to beg permission from her guardian to go along, but now she was facing away from the pool, and the wind snapped her wings back like a broken umbrella, and with no resistance she slipped. She tried to regain her balance, reaching out to grab at another child's leg, the hem of a brightly-coloured dress. The fabric slipped out of her hands as the older girl disappeared, too. Without anchor or approval, Kirra followed. Silver seeped through her feathers, through her mind, and it's less like drowning and more like flying.
