[ ]The 14 day rule still applies, but I've been debating changing it to a month, since there isn't a lot of acitivity. I hadn't noticed that someone had necroed the thread, my bad. At this point, I'm not being too strict about it...
@Shugota: Wow, 10 max? We have to take 12 minimum to be considered a full-time student.

I think, in special cases, we can take up to a maximum of 12 courses... but even for some students, taking the maximum load of 10 courses means a lot and a lot of work (because they have labs and tutorials in addition to class). Lectures are pretty long too. But luckily, they usually split it up once it's more than 2 hours per week... I can't do more than 2 hours because I'm pretty sleepy by the end of the second hour. sweatdrop

Where I go you need 12 or more credits to be considered a full time student. I have to be a full time student every semester or else I don't get my grants to help pay for college. sweatdrop and it sucks. It's hard to find work when your college schedule is all day and into the evening. ninja

[ ]@Shugota: Where do you go to school? We have labs and recitations too in some classes. Most of the lectures here are 50 minutes 2-3 times a week, some are about an hour and 15 minutes twice per week. Some classes have the 50 minute recitation at a time other than the lecture. As for labs, I'm no longer majoring in the natural sciences, but when I was, my lab was about 4 hours once a week. And that credit was included with the lecture credit. x.x
@Mesa_the_Great: I hear ya. I won't be able to work until summer vacation.

University of Toronto. you?
I managed to find a part time job working for my professor, the best thing about it is that the hours are flexible and it's pretty easy. Maybe you can see if any of your profs need a student to help them?
