Long, clear claws scratched across a mossy rock as the finned Pan'lun stretched. His strong jaws where wide and open as he yawned. Mist from the waterfall he was behind dampened him tongue and created moisture on his razor sharp teeth. His Dull, tan eyes were closed as he took in the feeling of his muscles loosen. Relaxing in his posture with a deep grunt, Rampel laid down again. 'What time did I fall asleep last night?' Rampel called out with his mind, attempting to communicate with his Coyote familiar. The familiar replied, it's voice drowsy, hinting the fact that he had just woken up, 'We arrived at this waterfall late last night when the moon was at it's fullest. The waterfalls appealed to you, and you said that you didn't want to travel any farther when you could take in a beautiful sight like this. I left at the break of dawn to start hunting, I should be back soon enough,' Rampel accepted his familiar's reply with silence. Deciding to get to know his surroundings, Rampel stood up and ducked out from behind the waterfall, into the clear warm air. He hovered in the air, looking out at the forest that surrounded him. This would be the perfect day for a swim,' he thought looking down at the water below him.

The fish swam about in a frenzy of panic as a large predator shot across the deep near the rocks in which they lived. Something whipped through the water, paralyzing a few of the unawared fish. Sharp curving teeth quickly closed around their victims, viciously tearing them apart. Suna devoured the helpless creatures in the blink of an eye. Her stomach still growled, unsatisfied by the tiny meal. Oi...where can I find better food around here? The female panlun rose slowly and poked her head out of the water, scanning the area for something much larger to fill her belly.

A little ways down the stream, something caught Rampel's eye. He paused in the air as he tried to identify the thing that had just erupted out of the water. His mind immediately took in the fact that it was a Painter, perhaps a Merdrac or Pan'lun like himself? It's hair was a minty white-green, and it's skin was a light blue, with a white helm. 'That's a Pan'lun,' Rampel slowly moved closer to the Painter, lowering himself down into the water so that he could be level with it. He watched as it's Ivory eyes looked around the area, as if it were looking for something. Clearing his throat, Rampel tried to gain the Pan'lun's attention. "Hello?"

Her skin twitched as she felt a presence nearby, but she ignored it and continued plotting a plan to find something better to eat. Then the sudden sound of someone speaking behind her, sent Suna into a water flailing attack. "AHHHH! WHO'S THERE?!" She nearly drowned herself as her body flopped around in the water while trying to find the source of the voice. The paniced female launched out of the water and clung to a nearby boulder. Curling up into a defensive pose, she growled at whatever it was that called to her. Her eyes locked onto another of her kind, a male panlun who was just staring back. "Oh! Um....hello..." A bright pink color rose to her cheeks as she sat down quietly in embarrassment for acting the way she did.

Rampel watched with interest as the female Pan'lun had a short spaz attack in front of him. He hadn't meant to frighten her, it wasn't apart of him intentions, "I am sorry for shocking you. I shouldn't have snuck up on you. Please forgive me," His tone was light and gentle, and he hoped that there could still be a chance for conversation. He probably didn't cause her to have a first good impression on him. Rampel remembered his manners, "My name is Rampel," He moved closer to the Pan'lun, "May I ask for yours?"
