I don't know why but for the past year I've been feeling like I just want to up and deck someone or grab them by the throat for no reason. And what's weirder is that I'm not even really pissed of or annoyed by these people at the time. We'll just be hanging out in a group talking and I just start getting that feeling for no reason and I have no idea what's triggering it. Has anyone else ever had any experience or problems with this? gonk
I just don't get how I'll be in the middle of a conversation with soome of my best friends and want to whap em one out of nowhere.

No, I can't say that I've ever experienced that.
I'd suggest talking to a professional about it. You might be able to find out why you're having those thoughts, and better yet, how to put an end to them. Because if your urges end up getting any stronger you might be at risk of hurting someone, facing felony assault charges, or both.

I've had those feelings a lot during the past few weeks.. but then I found out why. It's 'cause I'm stressed out to the point where I don't feel stressed out, and my patience gets REALLY low and I'll just wanna hurt someone.... I don't, but the thought is there.. ^^'; So yeah, probably high stress due to something or a lot of things.. *shrugs* or could be something else.

I get that urge all the time, but the person I want to lash out at deserves to other die or get his/her a** kicked, but I never do because its always in a huge crowd when I get the want to do it.

Talking to a counsellor or mental health professional would be a good idea.

Nikolita Talking to a counsellor or mental health professional would be a good idea. I see a counsellor at the school and I still feel like I need to kill someone because they get on my nerves. I NEED HELP!!!

I get a voilent urge to strangle someone or slam their head into my knee often... and I don't know what triggers it either. I understand what it feels like, but I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe if you were to talk to someone who felt the way you did then perhaps something could be accomplished.

I used to get like that all the time. Until I found an outlet for that kinda stuff. I'm sure it's different for everyone, but I'd go to concerts and mosh it out when I had the money. Or I'd write about everything I was thinking, even the bloody details, then get rid of the writing. I'd meditate, drink tea. I guess the trick is finding something that calms you down and something that does it on the fly for whenever you feel like that. If I was around friends or something, I'd tell them how I'd feel. I wouldn't say I wanted to hurt THEM lol but I'd talk to someone about it and if they were cool, they'd help me out.
I'm not a very aggressive person anymore but I used to be and I know what it feels like. Hope that helps. heart

We can point you in the right direction, but taking the step to do something is up to you. If your school counsellor isn't helping, ask them to put you in touch with a psychologist or mental health professional who might be able to better help you.
