I liked the new one, it was very action packed. Very different from the old ones, no armies of hypnotized chicks or girls crawling all over him. It reminded me of the Bourne series.

I believe Roger Moore was also blonde? But that aside, I just don't think Daniel Craig 'looks' like Bond. redface
Whatever you might say about acting skills, Pierce Brosnan did look right for the part. The earlier Bond movies weren't really carried on acting skill anyway, or plot or believable writing. Just pure escapism and fantasy really.
I believe the reason Brosnan was so old when he finally got a Bond role was because he was contracted to a studio that refused to release him to play Bond. That's why they put that terrible guy in (Timothy somebody? - - beady eyed looking guy anyway, would have made a way better Maxwell Smart than a Bond, James Bond. xp )
I think the latest Bond movies are better, in a lot of ways, but having seen the old movies and grown accustomed to them it just doesn't feel like watching a Bond movie any more.

i like how they threw some similarities into the movie and that the main badguy get ******** in the end

In my opinion.
All critics shouted and whined about Craig before Casino Royale, after that they sucked his @#¬=+ cause CR was one of the greatest Bond flicks ever and one of the best movies this generation has seen.
Quantum of Solace is an very good movie, once again removing a lot of the 007 cliches we all love and hate. But, as a direct sequel of Casino Royale, Quantum comes off short.
Craig still is an awesome James Bond.

hmm... I've gotten bored with Bond, this one had action but the classic (to the point of goofy) storyline was gone, and the storyline really left me disappointed...
the saddest part for me was him on the train actually asking the bartender what he is drinking!! what happened to 'shaken not stirred'
I'm still a huge fan of the older movies, Sean Connery will always have a place in my heart
