any section leaders tht can give me their advice?, please do

i play the tuba and i am the youngest tuba player, and there r 6 other tuba players in my section and both of my band directers want me to be the section leader next year for marching band because i am the most experienced tuba player there and i do not know wat to do, i am clueless, so ANY section leader tht can help please help

I say go for it!

If you're the most experienced and your BD's are egging you on then why not?

Being a section leaders not that tough! In my band all they're required to do is take care of the music, make sure everyone has the right music etc they have to watch their section for mistakes and help the other players if they don't know what they're doing and just keep the section in order! Just do it...you'll figure out what you have to do for your section pretty quickly.
