Yesturday my marching band southern nash marching firebirds won first place in everything in our class except for drum major, but only because we dont have a drum major. We also won grand champion out of all three classes. I was so happy I started crying because during the competition someone had moved one of my flags and another girl had accidentedly taken one of my flags so I had to air flag twice and I thought it would be my fault if we didnt win anything. I was so happy. I just wanted to share the great news with everyone =]

im in college now, but my high school, Oak Grove, got grand Champs twice this year!!! Its a first for them heart im so proud crying crying

So did my high school band.
We won all Superiors along with "Best Percussion with Distinction"

man...canada doesn't take band neerly as seriously as you
we don't even have regionals or anythiung like that...no competitions at all, actually...(I'm half hoping to go to college/university in USA, just for the competitions)

You guys are lucky. All our band gets is the Best Percussion section and participation award. We've only been to States once...

Congratulations! =D
This year we won Grand Champions at Hurricane Pride, down here in Florida. We hadn't won GC for 8 years! I'm so proud of everyone.

Ah! that is completly amazing congrats, we got a high rating too. And a color guard caption but thats it. And a band without a drum major? thats different smile
