Right now you just need to take a breath and calm down. If you paid by credit card, there isn't much you can do until they contact you back and reverse the charge.

s**t. 'Kay.
Things have been resolved, but here's the story.
My mom didn't want me to spend MY money on something I wanted. So she said no to the doll. So I said to my best friend, "If she doesn't change her mind by the 25th, I will order the doll with your help. Oh, but the 25th's a Saturday, so we'll do the 24th."
So on the 24th, I gave my friend the money, she ordered, and I was friggin' elated the whole day.
Until that night when, celebrating my grandfather's birthday, my mother brought up the topic of the doll. My grandparents instantly took my side (?!) and the issue was resolved that I could get it... if I gave my mother half the money I had been neglecting to give to her to put in the bank.
So now I need to cancel the doll payment!! Well, I ordered the doll at ~3o'clock. I returned home from the party at ~7 - and what does the order status say? PAYMENT RECEIVED. And the website clearly says that once it says 'payment received' or anything beyond that, they will not cancel or refund.
So I tried to email Luts (finding out they had no email, in the process), I tried posting on the QnA... In fact, if it wasn't for another friend of mine monitoring the QnA board as I had to leave the next day, I probably wouldn't have ever gotten a reply. He texted me in the morning with "They cancelled it!!" and I was so happy.
Luts resolved that they'll keep my order to the side until I switch the card I use for payment. So, possibly, less time to wait when I place the order the second time than I would've the first?
But now I need to give my money to my mother, while still being able to afford the doll, AND on top of that I need $2k by this summer, and I have no job!
So, s**t! I had $900 cash stowed away in a velvet box in my house. -400 for the doll's first payment (I need my money back from that other friend), leaves me with 500, which is just enough for the doll. But that's not including that my mother wants half my money!! So half of my current value, 500, is 250... not enough for the doll. I need my money back ASAP in order to give my mother half my money (half of 900 = 450) which leaves me with nothing. At least when I bought the doll myself, I'd have 450 left to save for that 2k thing I want!
So my current stress is about getting my money back ASAP and also whether I'll be able to somehow obtain $2,000 cash by the start of summer.
~And last night, in preparation for my doll's home-coming, I went through all my Barbie, all my American Girl Doll stuff and picked out anything that I'd be able to use! I have a dog, lots of books, a calculator, cookies cutter/maker, a golden-sprayed basket with an ornate doily, (all the dog's accessories), realistic-like food, plates, toys, and so much more.

Well, its good that Luts managed to reverse the payment, but can't say I've got any advice for the money issues. Thats all a matter of what you can save up if you're able to get a job, or already have one. Don't buy things you don't need, if you buy books or anything just wait until later to get them, etc.

I know.
So... It's unavoidable that I'm getting the doll now. The sooner, teh better, so I can get my cash amount in-check. The first step is to sell everything I don't need. One method is through game stores - I have oodles or video games I don't need, and though they'll hardly fetch a penny at all, I'll probably get at least five dollars per game. So once I'm done with my games that'll be... what, forty? Fifty? We're still cleaning the house, mom and I. Most of the old things are going to charity, but what if we could garage sale it all? Or thrift store? I doubt anyone'd buy it, but it's worth a shot. Also, I could take commissions on clothing (people-sized, maybe MSD-sized when I get my doll and if I'm good enough). That'd rake in a lot of cash. And, if my boss's company survives for at least a predictable year or so, I'll be able to get a job doing that. As soon as April comes I can get a real job though. This summer I'll be working as a day camp... person, but by then, the money I work for... that's too late.
Does anyone else have some money-providing ideas?

Does anyone else have some money-providing ideas? Protip: Sell your game s**t on eBay. Trading games in somewhere like Gamestop is pointless and really only puts the money in their pockets. EBay only charges a small listing fee. So as long as you can ship stuff off properly and maintain a decent feedback, you'll make waaaay more money than you ever would, nor would Gamestop be cheating you out of your cash. :'D

You can sell games and books on amazon.com too, and if I remember right, the fee is less to sell there then it is on ebay. Manga I wouldn't bother with though on amazon, as most of it will only sell for half of its original price or less, so you'd be better trying on ebay to see if you can get closer to their original price.

I don't really have access to that stuff... I don't have a credit card or anything of the sort, and my mother wouldn't go for that.

I believe you could get away with only Paypal on eBay.
But srsly, selling your games to Gamestop or EB games is only ripping you off and essentially handing them your games for free.

Then how do you suppose I go about doing this the kid-safe minor way?
And I have no older accomplices to help raise money with, so.

Can you do Craigslist? (I'm not sure about that one, as I've never used/even browsed it before)
Try making signs of stuff you'd like to sell, and post them around town or school, places where people who would want them would see it.

If you bought an item that sells for 40 at new, resells for 30 used, and you're only getting maybe 5 or so for it in return, there is something way wrong. That's also $25 lovely lost dollars that could go towards your doll, that mysterious $2000 item you want and just about anything else. Work a little harder and receive a little more. :'D

Mysterious 2k... xD It's actually a little less than 1500 now that I asked again. It's airfare to Thailand, by the way~ xD
But yeah, you're right, I think I'll try smart-selling somehow. Maybe, maybe just maybe I can ask one of my friends to sell stuff on his ebay...?
