I recently got an email from SquareEnix. It stated that Dragon Quest 8 will be in stores on November 22nd. On top of that, it'll be packaged with a playable demo of Final Fantasy 12. This is just like when Square put a demo of FF7 in with copies of Tobal No 1. The complete game may not be out till much later next year, so this may be your only chance for a while to see why this game is taking so long.

I've seen an add for Dragon Quest 8 in the back of my manual for Radiata Stories. If it has a demo for FF12, I'll buy it! (But i like Dragon Quest anyway so...) whee Plus, soon there will be another new game from Square called "Romancing Saga." It looked pretty cool.

i never played any of the dragon quest games, but i may try this one just to check out that demo...i really wanna see some actual FFXII, instead of just seeing screenshots...

I heard that FF 12 is being done by the guys who did The FF Tactics games. Can anyone confirm?

I haven't heard any of that but I've heard that they are remaking every Final Fantasy from 5 up I think so if thats the case I can't wait. But I bet they are going to do it for PS3 or something stare

i played the demo, i wasn't that impresed with the battle system. but it lives up to ff title.

I'm deffinately NOT getting that game just for a demo. I'm probably gonna rent Dragon Quest and if it seems worth my time.... I'll get it. But just for how much they downplayed Brave Fencer Musashi by throwing in an FF8 demo, I won't let them make another game sell to people who will never play it. *shakes fist at SE*

devildante21 i played the demo, i wasn't that impresed with the battle system. but it lives up to ff title. yeah that would be the same for me...The graphics are good an all, but its true that the fighting system isn't all that great * is more of a one turn battle system type-a-gal * But since it is a final fantasy game, I'm sure it will be good... ( I hope that square will remake FF7 and FF8.... heart )
