Yuurei sat in the uncomfortable chair glancing, quite obviously and often, at her gold watch. Sighing softly she wondered why she didn’t just drop the cat-raevan off here, or why Lucia needed to be here at all. The library at home didn’t have as many books, but she didn’t see the reason why they had to go to the public library to see books.
Lucia slowly flipped through the large bible the local library had. She was surprised to find so old a bible in a library run by the infamous Gambino, but she decided not to question it. The tan and gold embossed cover lay open on the table as Lucia's eyes read through the information in front of her. Sitting at the large tables in the middle of the library with the bible spread out before her, the kitten glanced through the tales for stories of what happened after death. She was picking up with where she left off from the last visit she forced Yuurei to make, but she was still only in Exodus. The ideas in Genesis about what happened before there was life and the creation of humans interested her. As she read about the ten commandments breaking in half, Lucia’s purple eyes were riveted to the old paper as she gingerly turned the page.
Yuurei rolled her eyes. How could a raevan spawned from a witch’s familiar be reading the bible. She fluffed her hair quickly and examined her nail polish for any chips or scratches she might have to have the nail salon fix.

When the clouds took on such dark grey colors and gathered like a hungry beast in the sky it didn't take long for the trio containing two youths and one raevan to seek shelter. Out for a walk on what had been a lovely day, to see the foreboding clouds sent Lillian and Tyson searching for a place to reside in until the chance for rain blew over. Now, stuck in the library, the two sat in the cushioned chairs closest to one of the Library's expansive windows. Occasionally one of the two would raise their heads from the books they had chosen to glance out the window, either waiting for the first droplets of rain to fall or the first ray of sun to break through the clouds.
The remainder of the three, Iorek, floated with wide eyes filled with curiosity through the library. It was so...big! If he wasn't afraid of scratching the old books that lined the shelves, Iorek would have happily placed his hand upon one colorful binding and dragged his digits over the sides of each and every one that lined the shelves.
Halfway down the fifth aisle he had been exploring what the raevan saw at the end certainly grabbed his attention.
Now, so far he had only come in contact with two of his kind, but he had decided that the ones without two dangly legs was of relation to him.
So of course a wide smile filled with excitement and joy flashed upon his gray lips at the sight of a black being who possessed a glossy spiral which curled around the wooden chair like a cat's tail. Without much thought thanks to the shivers of happiness clouding his mind, Iorek soared over to the table like some kind of bird of prey.
A large shadow was soon cast over the bible that had kept Lucia's attention and a voice floated over her head. "Ah! H-Hello!" The deep voice chirped with enthusiasm. "My name is Iorek. You are like me, yes?"
So much for Lillian's rule of not talking to strangers.

Lucia saw the shadow come over her shoulder and tense up. She was on edge since she had snuck out and anything scary wasn't something she was really interested in. She jumped and whipped her head around at the first noise Iorek made, even though it was just an enthusiastic hello. Lucia quickly evaluated Iorek. Though he was large and seemed to tower over her as she sat in the chair, she saw that he was indeed like her. His ribbon, while not ending with a belt buckle like hers did, was still that of a raevan.
Yuurei's eyes glanced up as Iorek introduced himself to Lucia. She stared at him plainly as she took in his appearance as well. Dropping her hands to the table surface, Yuurei fixed her posture and fluffed her hair. Maybe his guardian would be a handsome wealthy man.
"Hi," Lucia replied pleasantly. "You scared me! I'm Lucia and yes, I'm a raevan too." Glancing over at Yuurei who had just chuckled softly in an effort to get attention, Lucia rolled her eyes and continued, "That's Yuurei, my guardian." She smiled and stood up to gage how tall he was compared to her normal stature. Considerably taller than her, Lucia looked up at him and smiled softly. "Why did you come here? I'm looking at this old bible."
Yuurei rolled her eyes as Lucia brought up the book. Looking around the area, Yuu tried to find his tall, dark, handsome guardian.
