RP FORUM RULES
No Cybering!
Cybering, or other forms of sexual situations, are not allowed on Gaia as this is a PG-13 site. If you promote or encourage people to cyber either in the forums or by PM then you run the risk of loosing your thread and receiving at least a warning.
It should also be noted that posting nude images or images that are particularly vulgar or gory are also not allowed.
No Abusive Comments
This includes abusive comments to other users, flaming, trolling, harassment and stalking. You are allowed to swear on Gaia, but you are not allowed to insult other users, go into their thread without permission and start trouble, or refuse to leave after the creator has asked you to. If you are found doing this you will be punished.
No Spam
Spam can be many things, it can be simply an unwanted bump, intrusive comment, causing the page to scroll sideways, excessively long "bumps for gold" or gibberish; these are but a few examples. Either way, none of these are welcome in the forum, if you wish to spam then please do so in the Chatterbox.
No Hate Based Roleplays
Hate roleplays that are negatively directed towards a Gaia user, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation are not allowed on Gaia. These roleplays that are found will be removed and the owner punished.
No Advertising
Advertising in the guild RP forum is not allowed, you may not create a new thread with the intention of advertising. If you wish to advertise a roleplay please see the Barton OOC forum.
No Off-Site Advertising
Offsite forums are great for roleplaying on as well, but you cannot advertise for them in the guild. Please use your signature for such purposes. All advertisements posted in Barton Town will be removed from the forum with a warning for offsite advertisement/spam, even in the Barton OOC subforum.
No Copying Another RP
Many RPs are very well planned and formed, however copying a thread's material and pasting it as your own is not allowed. However, while stealing someone's written work is not allowed, you are allowed to make an RP with a similar idea behind it. Stealing of another thread's written material is a warnable offense.
Please do not Report off-site RPing
Roleplaying violations that take place off of Gaia Online over messengers, e-mail, etc, are outside of Gaia Online's ToS. Gaia Online is not responsible for what happens over messengers or off-site e-mail. However, soliciting roleplaying that is in violation of the ToS is not permitted on Gaia Online.
