Does anyone's band have nicknames for the fiberglass sousaphones? i.e white trash, etc. (no offense) 4laugh Personally I think the brass ones are nicer, but what do you think? Also, which one do you prefer? blaugh

Our band is pretty much the only one who has all-brass Sousaphone.
I can see why, I'd hate to play a fiberglass tuba. (though, I probably wouldn't have to polish it as often)
I love my brass tuba.

(I don't play Tuba or Susaphone) My band only has Fiberglass Ones, Except I've seen the brass ones before on TV and stuff, and they look really nice 3nodding

personally i prefer the brass ones... wikipedia says that some fiberglass sousa players refer to their instruments as white trash rofl ... no offense xd I love my brass tuba!
