brass is WAY better because u get rewarded more and thier usually isnt tht much brass but if u can play well then stay at brass its just u dont get melody tht much

Fluties ALL THE WAY, MAN!!! They're actually a little harder 'cause we don't have a mouthpiece to lessen our exertion of air (If it doesn't make sense to you, my music director would say "Tough beans." Besides, she explained that to me when I decided to switch from clarinet to flute.)

I play both Woodwind and Brasswind. I play Flute, may play Alto flute, and I also play Trombone and I'll be playing Tuba in january.

This one time...Brass! First - we aren't as affected by the weather as woodwinds Second - we are better at playing different ways Third - most of us only have three to four buttons (Trombones just have the slide that's fun to play with!) Fourth - We only have to put in the mouth peice to play. (Wood winds have to put almost five things togther.) ...at band camp
