So, I saw belts at Whole Foods that were made from the silver can-tabs of soda bottles. They were connected by black, thick thread and that's it. It was real awesome until I saw the price . . . O_O! Forgettaboudit! I'll make my own! And so I did! Here's the result:

I made a wrist band to go with it. Here's what I did:
I sewed them on by hand with thread. It took me awhile to figure out a pattern that would keep them on evenly and sturdily. Just go around each section about 3 times, linking the touching sides of the tabs. I used a SOFT, CLOTH belt. I also added some stickers and sequens(use super glue) to the buckle, which I then went over with clear nail polish. I colored them with nail polish. The red ones are from Hansen's sodas I believe. I did the belt about a year ago; the wrist band about 2 months ago. It took me 8 hours, but I later did one for a friend as a gift that took me 3 hours since I had the pattern down then. I did blue, pink, white and black tabs. It turned out awesome and I get a ton of compliments on it, and so does my friend.
