When the images around you Style the person within, How can you truly let go Of the pain, the worry, The intolerable concern of loneliness?
When the tears come out, Every eye shuts, Every mind rests But your own.
Who is truly bleeding? The person created by outside forces, Or the girl lost within, Struggling to over power Memories, images, every imperfection Pointed out by those she once loved.
And yet time passes: College graduation, supported by all; Weight loss, supported by few; And yet nothing remains Besides the traumatic pain From nights filled with erotically evil memories.
All the acceptance, All the concern, All the love and adoration Could never mend the scars Ripping inside, Wishing she could live alone And do nothing but cry.
