*As the sun rose from the misty mountains, Seth was awakened by the sounds of a fight. Angrier and angrier each time he came out his front door to find Bullet harrassing his ranch, he ran shouting across the field, weilding a gun or a pitchfork or a red hot branding iron and each time the wiley stallion would stagger off, usually unharmed. But caught up in the struggle with War, Bullet didnt see Seth comming, the angry man held a pitchfork and as he jabbed at Bullet with it he caught the stallion in the eye. Bullet neighed loudly in pain, swinging his arms and staggering back, blinded. He fell to the ground and wriggled about like a fish out of water or a worm in the sun. Finally he leapt up, banging his flank against a nearby tree and standing still. He struggled and eventually calmed himself, slowly opening his one good eye. His other, however, was streaming with blood, running down his neck and across his black face. His long matted mane was wet in spots with the bright red blood and it spotted along his front legs and shoulder and chest. He was a mess and half blind, and he just rested about the tree, leaning on it.

Slowly, Seth turned and walked back to the house, War pranced about the field, sniffing about the misty grass.*

*Staggering about, Bullet jerked his head about, cocking his head to whichever side he tried to look, turning about. As he stood akwardly, his legs splayed and his head cocked as though he were a minute old colt again, he watched as the white mare came toward him.*

*Bullet walked a bit more collected across the road and laid down in the tall green grass, occasionally tossing his head or swishing his tail about his eye to keep the flies at bay. The bleeding had slowed but his head still pounded and his wounded eyesocket still burned and filled his thoughts with pain and anguish. Exhausted, he lay flat on his side and did his best to wriggle his head about when the flies got too bad. Bullet thought long and hard about where he might find a mudhole, he thought about smearing the cool mud over his eye to soothe it, and he thought about rolling in it over and over until he was cacooned inside of a heavy brown shell, safe from the flies. The sun glared down on his aching head, the only shade being patterned by the tall grass and bringing little relief. He closed his one good eye and lay in the hot sun, thinking more and more and more about how hot the beating sun was in the giant cloudless sky and how cool the ocean and mud would be about this time of year.*

((i think we've run this RP just as far as it's gonna go..Not too bad, acctually. I've been thinking of new ideas, but if you wanted to make one I'd love to join it ^.^))

((possibly one of those ranch/farm settings, but with just a few characters it should be easier to keep track of than this one was. Oh, I also have one idea about a futuristic one that is set here in America, but so far in the future where the land is vast and desolate and empty besides a person or two and a few rugged horses and animals. either way i'd like to use some of the new horses I've painted as caracters. Bellino still amazes me, lol. I have a few appys I'm working on and this black and white stallion in that bucking mustang breyer model I named Amp.))
